Introduction

I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 32 years of experience helping children and adults strengthen their communication and swallowing skills. I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University, where I also received my Rehabilitative Credential. I am a Certified VitalStim Therapist and hold a certificate in Augmentative Communication. I completed my clinical internships with the San Francisco Unified School District and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, ICF homes, private preschools, private clinics, Bay Area school districts, and government agencies. These experiences have given me extensive knowledge in both speech-language and dysphagia therapies and have shaped my compassionate, individualized approach to care.

I believe that communication is one of the most powerful ways people connect with the world around them. My goal is to help individuals find their voice, build confidence, and experience the joy of being understood.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also an artist and published author. I enjoy blending my creativity with my professional experience to design materials that teach, uplift, and celebrate learning and communication.
