Introduction

Hi, I’m Shayna, a neuro-affirming pediatric speech-language pathologist based in Los Angeles. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults, supporting communication in ways that feel meaningful and engaging. I take a child-led, play-based approach and focus on each person’s individual strengths, interests, and needs. I especially enjoy supporting early language, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and AAC. I’m passionate about creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while helping families feel supported along the way.

I would describe myself as warm, patient, and observant because I value building genuine connections with each client. I take the time to get to know their interests, strengths, communication style, and individual needs. I’m patient and understand that everyone communicates and learns at their own pace. I’m also observant and pay attention to the small things that can help me better understand and support each client. I want my clients to feel comfortable, understood, and valued while creating a therapy experience that feels positive, engaging, and meaningful.
