Teresa Newmark, MA, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Specialist. As a classically trained singer, Teresa entered the field of speech pathology with a particular interest in voice disorders and trained at the Scripps Center for Voice and Swallowing in La Jolla, California. She quickly discovered her passion for working with children and has been honing her skills for over a decade. Teresa continues to be fascinated with the voice, speech, and feeding mechanism, and for that reason has pursued specialized training in feeding, voice, apraxia, articulation, and stuttering. She is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) approach to feeding. Teresa is also a strong advocate for early identification and treatment of speech and language disorders. She has dual certification in the evidence-based Hanen method of language therapy for infants and toddlers (It Takes Two to Talk and the Autism-focused More Than Words program).
