Seven Bridges Therapy - Oakland

We have been coming to Seven Bridges for almost a year now and have had a great experience so far. Our son can take a little bit to warm up to any new routines and new people but from the beginning both Calias and Bella welcomed him with open arms and made him feel comfortable immediately. Though progress is slow in the beginning they both were very patient with him and tried different methods with him. In the past few months hes improved exponentially and I owe it to them for their encouragement and persistence with his learning Hes also more willing to speak and curious to learn which I believe are good habits he picked up from speech therapy. We love working with Calias and Bella and they are certainly some of my sons favorite people - thank youMy only small complaint is the cancellation policy can be quite rigid and the staffs availability is limited so it can be difficult to schedule for working parents. Seven Bridges Therapy has been great for my son. Everyone at SBT is helpful. The Finance Scheduling departments are always willing to work with you and explain things. We attend sessions at the Oakland location.My sons sees Calias Cali for short. Hes been working with Cali for a little over a year. Cali is very knowledgeable and great at giving us tips to work with him at home. Most of all she is patient understanding and makes our son feel comfortable. She also is able to get him to work hard. We have seen tons of progress. We are grateful for Seven Bridges Highly recommend

Seven Bridges is great Everyone is friendly the environment is very welcoming and comfortable and the services provided are wonderful. My non-verbal 7 yo with autism worked with Calias and went from using a single word to using full structured sentences in 6 months. Shes the best therapist my son has worked with by far

Words cannot express how much we appreciate speech therapist Calias Dulls amazing work From our daughters first session a year ago with Calias to now she has made tremendous progress on her comprehension skills. She also went from producing only a couple of sounds to now working on sounding vowels consonants and simple words. We are so pleased with her progress we decided to stay with Seven Bridges even though we moved out of the Oakland area. We highly recommend Seven Bridges to those who are looking for speech therapy for their little one.

This place has helped my speech delayed little one make a tremendous improvement over the last two years. He has gone from not being able to say any words to having full conversations. Weve had three different speech therapists and each one has been great.The therapists here are amazing They work hard to understand your kiddo and bring activities that they will engage with and enjoy. My little one loves coming every week.I will say that their attendance policy is very strict which is to be expected from in demand services serving densely populated areas. I can also attest to the intake process being a little sloppy although I will say that we started with them during the height of the pandemic when there were lots of logistical issues for everyone not just this provider. Since things have calmed down theyve introduced a new system that makes scheduling and contacting your therapist much easier than it was when we started. If you had a poor interaction here with scheduling Im the past I would circle back and try again because the therapists are great and honestly theyre worth the headaches with scheduling.

The staff here at Seven Bridges Therapy in Oakland are BEYOND amazingMy son has been taking speech therapy since October 2022 and he has improved so much My child only spoke maybe at most 10 words when he first started now he speaks 50 words.My sons speech therapist is Grayce and she is so patient and kind. I believe my son wouldnt be where he is without her It takes a long time for my son to be adjusted to people but after a short time with Grayce he adjusted and is now eager to get into the roomI cant thank Grayce and the Seven Bridges staff enough for helping my son. Highly recommend Seven Bridges to any parent that needs that extra help in speech for their child.

My kiddo loves the group session with Grace. It is helping him become more confident when making friends He does not like to miss the sessions. I do miss their old location because of the free parking but the location on Grand Ave is fun to walk around. Just bring extra coins for the meters as the card readers sometimes are broken.

Our experience with Seven Bridges Therapy has been overwhelmingly negative. The biggest issue weve faced is their lack of reliability when it comes to scheduling. Appointments are frequently canceled often at the last minute which has caused significant disruptions to our familys routine. When youre relying on consistent support for your child this kind of unreliability becomes incredibly frustrating and undermines any progress that could be made.Another major problem is the instability of their staffing. In just a few months weve had four different specialists assigned to us. Several times when we started to build a rapport with a therapist and establish a routine they were either replaced or left the company altogether. This constant turnover has made it nearly impossible for our child to build the trust and continuity needed for effective speech therapy.On top of that weve constantly been shuffled around to different locations across the county. Instead of having a consistent place for therapy were frequently required to travel to new offices adding even more stress and inconvenience to an already frustrating process. This constant relocation has made it difficult to establish a comfortable and familiar environment for our child further hindering any potential progress.Given these issues I cannot recommend Seven Bridges Therapy to anyone looking for dependable speech therapy for their child. Consistency is crucial for any kind of therapeutic progress and this company has repeatedly failed to provide that. If possible I would suggest looking elsewhere for services that are more reliable and better organized.

Our son has been attending Seven Bridges for a few months. We are very impressed with all the staff especially the wonderful speech therapists. They are easy to get in touch with and very understanding. They have been especially helpful throughout the pandemic and were able to switch easily between in-person and virtual classes whenever necessary. Our son loves going to therapy and the therapists are all very creative knowledgeable and professional. Our son has learned a lot so far and enjoys every session. We highly recommend Seven Bridges.

My son has been receiving therapy with Seven Bridges therapy for the past 1.5 years. We are glad we were referred here because the speech pathologists and therapists caught a disorder that was not diagnosed by our health care plan. Since then my son has been making great progress in his speech. He has come to love working with his therapists Brennah and Bri and they have both been very timely and professional. We have also been able to work with Shannon Kong who has attended school meetings with us and has shared great feedback about how he can be successful in the classroom.Overall we are very happy with theses services and glad these therapists are helping with our son
