Unorganized unprofessional and unreliable. They are hard to get in contact with. When I finally spoke to a woman she answered Hello I had to ask if it was Sensory Street because apparently the calls from the office was forwarded to her personal phone. I had asked her questions about the cost of the evaluation being that my daughter had already been evaluated less than a week prior at a reputable OT facility. The woman insisted that they do an evaluation at her facility. I digressed and asked to speak with someone about ongoing costs for treatment because she sounded as if she was out and about and not yet in the office. She kept talking about needing to do the initial evaluation 3xs after I tried redirecting the conversation to billing and thats when she said she was the owner. She asked for my name and said shed call back in 30 mins and never did. I called back 4xs and there was no answer. I emailed them stating that I wanted to cancel my appointment and subsequently still receive an email prompting me to complete the intake forms. A testament to how unorganized they are.

Signed my child up for open play. Immediately someone who claimed to be a therapist said every action he did was unsafe. For example climbing the ladder to the monkey bars or getting on the swing. He was not allowed to play on any of the equipment with out being stopped for some arbitrary safety concern. The only redeeming thing about this place was that they refunded my money. My son and I will never be back. Public play grounds are far superior.

I started taking my son here this summer for OT. He is 4 and I think the services and therapy that he receives here are excellent. The staff is incredibly skilled thoughtful intelligent and dedicated. I am very impressed. I come from the Park Slope area and it is worth the travel time. They are also very well organized in terms of timing and payment. Daniel Yolanda and the other therapists and the rest of the team are exceptional.

Dr. B is absolutely amazing. Shes been working with my daughter for just a few months and weve seen great process as my daughter is now thriving with her support. Shes also taught us so much on how to support her at home and school. Highly recommended.

Went there for over a year. The assistants used to do all of the interactions with the children but the owner started working with children more in recent month. One day when she though all parents had dropped off their children and left I remained to wait. I heard her berating a toddler with communication issues since he wasnt responding to her commands. Then a few minutes later yelling at the child for not following her instructions about where to go next in the gym. She seemed flustered after realizing one of the parents me was waiting behind the privacy wall separating the gym from the waiting area. Would not take my child back or recommend to others.

I have referred many families to this facility because the whole sensory input is super important for our children. But lets speak on behaviors and schedules when a child arrives late and isnt allowed to even receive the remaining time of their appointment slot. Shame on the facility but thats their rules so the parents must now handle the behaviors or work on alternatives for the remaining day.How about when they tell you yes your child can come in than say sorry we cant see your child because we had poor communication and I didnt know your child wasnt on the schedule. So now again your child is upset and thats for you to deal with. I ask where is the respect for our children from this facility. Many times I felt this way but sucked it up put my feelings to the side for my daughters needs today I say enough. This isnt ok and shouldnt be allowed. Our children time and feelings should be respected.
