So unfortunately my wonderful perfect grandson needs a little help. We have been waiting forever to get here. Today I showed up with my 8 year old grandson who was masked and I answered the security persons honestly and said that my grandson had a little sniffle due to swimming and the dogs but COVID-19 test was negative and no fever. They sent us away. Even though I was crying and trying to explain how long we had waited and how important this was. So very disappointed you would do this to a child in need.

Said the wait is over two years just to be diagnosed and two years for treatment. Were actually rude to me as well and said there are thousands of other familys seeking help. Well why isnt more being done then if its obviously such a need. Im so frustrated with any care for autism being an afterthought. Do better

You wait for years and there are no services they provide. Just use their website as a resource.

3 years of being on the waiting list May of 2018... I finally broke down and cried to them on the phone about how bad my child needs services back in June... they gave me an appointment right then and there for today.... then called me this morning to tell me that there was a mistake in scheduling on their end and had to cancel our appointment and that the next available appointment was in 2 months.. I am disgusted with this place. In addition if you look at the other reviews... there is one where the family was only on the waiting list for 13 months... back in 2019... why were they able to get in before us Their waiting list is a joke and the company is a joke.

My experience with Seattle Autism Center has been very good overall. I have been taking my son there for 7 years. They are kind and understanding. The wait time is very long there but that is to be expected for anything with autism related therapies.

PARENTS CURRENTLY WAITING FOR AN APPOINTMENT call and make sure you are on the cancellation list. We were expecting an appointment sometime in September 2019got on wait list August 2018 but they have a 13 month waitlist but because I was on the cancellation list a spot opened up in early June 2019. Get your child a referral and into Occupational Therapy Speech Therapy Physical Therapy Behavioral Therapy and whatever else they made need in the meantime. We waited a year for OT and ST as well. Be proactive and the wait really wont seem so bad in the long run.

These nurses are great at their job and I dont want to say job because they really care about your childs needs and they listen and help you understand your childs needs when my son was diagnosed they told me his actions before I could share my experience with them and I just cried because this is so new to me they helped me with classes and everything thank you ms Karen she is the best nurse for my son. The only back thing she just stay so booked out but when your great like her I guess thats what happens I drive a hour and half to see her.

My daughter has been a patient of several therapists and physicians at Seattle Childrens Autism Center for over five years. One therapist diligently worked to help her walk which she does now independently. The wait to be seen seemed long initially but call often and ask for cancellations. Once we were seen regular appointments are easy to set. Our city needs more centers like this one to meet the wealth of needs in our community.

Be patient people It takes almost a year and a half to get your child diagnosed. There are long waiting list. They have helped me and my kids figure out what steps to take next. Until then I suggest you keep doing the best you can with your children. BE THERE. Start therapy asap. I know it can be frustrating but nothing comes out from bashing the autism center online. They are doing their best to help us.
