Introduction
Hi, I’m Samantha McWeeney, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in Bremerton, Washington. I work with children from birth through young adulthood, supporting ages 0–24 with a play-based, strengths-focused approach that centers on parent coaching and meaningful connection.
I’m often described as passionate, fun, and highly focused on parent education. I believe that when families are supported, children thrive.
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me traveling, spending time outdoors with my family and our dog Bruce, or relaxing with a crochet project in hand.

My therapy style is rooted in connection, joy, and real-life moments. I believe children learn best through meaningful interactions, which is why I center my work around parent coaching—empowering caregivers with the tools, confidence, and understanding they need to support their child’s communication every day.
Families often describe me as energetic, engaging, and deeply committed to education and collaboration. I strive to create a supportive, welcoming environment where both children and caregivers feel seen, heard, and capable.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
My areas of expertise include early intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I’m deeply passionate about empowering families and helping caregivers feel confident, supported, and equipped to connect with their child while discovering and celebrating every child’s unique voice. I am also a certified Play and Language for Autistic Children (PLAY Project) Coach.
