Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Litchfield County was established by the joining of forces of Foothills Visiting Nurse and Home Care (Est. 1922), VNA Northwest (Est. 1928) and Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association (Est. 1904). Our mission is to provide the best home health, hospice, and preventive care for the residents of Litchfield County and beyond. We are your local Home Health & Hospice Agency providing care 24/7. Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Litchfield County is a voluntary non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors representing the towns we primarily serve. It is licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and certified by Medicare.
