My kids 4 and 16mo love this place. If you get EBT admission is only 2 and a yearly membership is half off. The staff are all so kind and clearly love working with children of all backgrounds abilities and ages. The STEM room is a favorite and the rotating exhibits keep the museum new and exciting. They do circle times for like a mini preschool and always have some kind of activity planned for the kids to engage in. Highly recommend

Our visit to the Sacramento Childrens Museum was an absolute blast There was an abundance of activities for the kids and adults everyone had a fantastic time. The staff went above and beyond being incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. It was a real struggle to tear the kids away from all the fun. Rest assured well definitely be returning in the future

Was told cant go in on a rainy day because too many people due to birthday parties and events. Its not a short drive for me and I would expect notice to members when this kind of thing happens. I paid for the yearly membership last time I went there but has not used the membership a single time as of this writing. The lack of notice to members and denial of entry is very disappointing.

Perfect place for our almost 2year old to run around and explore. It seems perfect for younger kids and has so many stations for a big variety of activities. So much to do we will definitely have to bring him back.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure More

This place is amazing. My daughter is very little 7m so I was nervous about how much there would be to actually do with her but the under 2 area is great Super clean and safe I love that you cant go in with shoes or they have to be covered. The rest of the museum was a little too old for her of course but it was so cool to check out. Theres tons of fun pretend play areas for kids a vet a fake grocery store a rocket ship The staff was wonderful too super attentive to everyone and cleaning up around the kids. There was always someone running around doing something to make the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone. I cant wait to bring my daughter back especially when shes big enough for the rest of the museum

This place is pretty amazing My 2 year old and I love that she gets to use her imagination when serving me play coffee or ice cream. She loves the little shopping areas And I cant wait for her to be old enough to participate in the arts and crafts. I think this place would be fun for kids up to my guess would be around 8 or so unless they are particularly into the crafts or the project areaThey are part of the Museums for All which means that with an EBT card and ID theres a wonderful discount for entry 2 per person for up to 2 adults and 2 children
