ROWI Teen and Parent Wellness Center - Tustin

In the fall of 2022 our teen daughter with ASD began dealing with significant mental health issues. Over the next weeks she became more and more anxious and depressed. She was so debilitated that she stopped going to school entirely. When we met Melyssa and the team at ROWI Tustin we had tried so many things and were running out of hope and options. Melyssa advised us to have our daughter go through a residential program first and then begin the ROWI PHP program. Although it was a hard decision to make we followed Melyssas expert advice and followed the treatment plan that she laid out. Our daughter was completely stuck. She was spending everyday in her room in the dark. As expected the residential program got the ball rolling so that our daughter was in a better place to begin working in the PHP program.When our daughter began the program she didnt want anything to do with it. But Melyssa and each member of the Tustin staff was kind and patient and within a week the won her over. Step by step her mental health improved and our relationship with her improved. As our daughter learned tools for dealing with anxiety and worked with her personal counselor my husband and I met with Melyssa and learned new parenting techniques and perspectives.Our daughter continued to improve and progressed through the PHP and IOP programs. While she and we still have work to do our daughter is functioning as part of our family again and is back in school. My family and I found the staff at ROWI in Tustin to be some of the kindest and most professional group of individuals Ive had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend them to those who are looking for help with their teens that may be struggling through a difficult period in their life.

Amazing program loved every moment I had there with my friends and the wonderful staff also dog was adorable they all provided wonderful insight and helped you in your journey of mental health.
