Richard Kevin Howlin, PHD

Richard Howlin, D. Psych, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field of child & adolescent developmental autism. His writings and teaching areas include the role of natural learning differences in children, the neurobiology and treatment of Asperger Syndrome and ADHD. Dr. Howlin was trained in Munich, Bavaria and originally lectured in developmental psychology and autism at the University of Michigan. He conducts ongoing trainings in child and adolescent psychology in Europe and the United States. He was former vice president of the Michigan Society for Asperger Syndrome and is a consultant for the Hillingdon School for Autism in London. He maintains a clinical practice in Chelsea, Michigan.
