Ricardo Mendoza, DDS

My kids and I had been Dr Mendoza for a few years and he is usually very good until one incident that happened a yr ago. My 7 yr old had a wiggly tooth when we came in at the time. The hygienist waspersistent about pulling it out and my daughter was scared and was crying so much. Then Dr Mendoza came over and forcefully tried to get into her mouth so that he could try to remove that tooth. He was using force on her and hurt her. In the end he wasnt able to look in to her mouth no cleaning or exam was done. Its been over a year since that incident and my daughter is still traumatize when ever I mentioned going to the dentist she would start crying and hyperventilating. I felt like what he did was unnecessary and he should have gave her the option of letting her tooth fall out naturally. Instead of doing what he did. It was not like the tooth was infected and its an urgent matter that it has to come out. Anyways I promised my daughter I would never take her back to see Dr Mendoza again.

Dr. Mendoza is very caring and great with the kids. He is always making the best recommendations and brings about of expertise in the field. His staff is wonderful and always see patients on time.

The staff was very nice and friendlyhowever you end up sitting in waiting area for a quite while before you see the dentistbut if you late even 15 minthe dentist gets to decide if he still wants to see you or not .

My family has been a pt of Dr. Mendoza for over 10 yrs and have never had a bad experience . He and his staff are always very welcoming and great with children. They have a great environment for the kids to feel at ease and always explain the procedure to children to make them feel at ease.
