About ResCare Community Living – Outwood
Outwood is located on a rural picturesque campus located in the heart of western Kentucky. We are an Intermediate Care Facility that specializes in the unique need of persons with severe and profound intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We offer medical, behavioral, psychiatric, rehabilitation, respite, and transitional services.
From someone who worked there for years:
Do not work here and DO NOT place your loved ones in their care. When family members call to check in on a resident, staff will lie. Staff are under paid, over worked, most are not educated properly. Supervisors will play favorites and look the other way which is dangerous in this line of work. They will put one person on a side with individuals who have 2 person assisted ambulatory needs. During covid they moved staff from quarantined areas to work with residents that were not sick.

Beaming Review
absolutely terrible company, forces the young employees that slave there for them to work 16 hour shifts and pull 70-80 hour weeks and if they don’t do that or refuse and can’t stay over another 8 hours they threaten to take them to court and charge them with abandonment while the people high up in the office sit at a desk all day and get off at a regular decent time working a 8 hour shift, it’s a disgusting place and needs to be closed down they have no idea what they are doing up there and are slaving the young workers they have there and manipulating them to beleive if they quit or can’t pick up a shift they will b took to court and get charged with a felony
