REM Iowa - Hiawatha Community Services

Since 1979, REM Iowa has provided quality services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex challenges. We also offer services for adults with brain injuries and provide a range of programs, including residential services and day and vocational programs. The office oversees the operation of more than 20 Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) throughout the Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Marion areas. The individuals served consistently have primary diagnoses of either Mental Retardation or Brain Injury often coupled with challenging secondary diagnoses such as Autism, Schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder.
