I agree that the idea and principles of the school are amazing and youll fall in love with the students. They are the best part of the job. They will have you laughing and leave you with a million memories. But I also have to agree with the previous review from Hill. Its a little concerning that administration knows about those things about said staff member and havent done anything. Its a shame that we now live in a world where its ok to have a toxic and racist individual teaching students because you dont want to be more understaffed. Food for thought more people would want to work here and stay if you improve the environment.

The students are amazing They can be hard sometimes but its worth it. A lot of the older staff are rude act entitled and exhibits a lot of discriminatory practices KS. A ton of new staff would stay if the issue was addressed. Administration has a lot of work to do before they can call themselves an antiracist school. Hopefully they can get there one day.

The staff doesnt seem happy they appear to put on their best smile and try to be cordial but the environment atmosphere feels very strained andor toxic. The pay rate seems concerning especially for this line of work which requires a degree or more plus several years of experience. The children are amazing and are welcoming its seems like a great place especially for 2E kids until they grow out of the environment.

The idea and principles of this school are amazing however when it comes to executing what they are saying is far from it. So simply they dont practice what they preach . I am not sure if the people who are rating the school are the parents or the teachers however this school doesnt deserve 5 stars not when they are getting paid 6 figures per child Not worth it

Rebecca school is a really good school sorry the name Im using my Daughters MacBook it has a really good educational sistem. My daughterAmy LOVES this school. He says to me everyday Mom if I ever need to change school I want to stay in another Rebecca school. She also says recess there is amazing. She has tons of friends and looks forward to have new ones. When I go get my daughter shes different. She looks smarter and more intelectual. Well my point is if you want a school or a new school to your son or daughter choose Rebecca school. Im putting my son there when he makes 4. I recommend 5 Stars for Rebecca school

Rebecca School is a great school with a special education focus especially with those with kids on the autism spectrum. The staff is incredible under great leadership. I always have a heartwarming experience whenever I visit Rebecca School. The staff clearly loves working with the kids and there is no better school in NYC using the DIR Model there right now in my opinion. If you have a child on the spectrum I recommend you go take a tour. What they do is truly amazing.
