Rebecca Day, CCC-SLP

My name is Rebecca and I'm a pediatric SLP based in Northern California. I have experience working with children in early intervention through transitional post-graduate programs. My therapy approach is unique to each client, however, I always lead with child and family first strategies such as play and functionality. My expertise includes early intervention, pragmatic communication, and AAC. I am not as well-positioned to serve kids struggling with stuttering, however have worked with a few fluency clients over the years. I'm passionate about connecting with my client and their families and helping children develop self-advocacy skills so that they may feel seen, heard, and respected. Others describe me as kind, flexible, and informed. When I'm not in therapy sessions you can find me cuddling my cat, outside in nature, reading books, and spending time with my family and friends.
