I believe that in therapy emotional and behavioral change happens over time in the context of a collaborative relationship between client and therapist, based on trust and privacy. I know that the decision to enter treatment for yourself or your child is not always an easy one to make; it involves sharing private thoughts and feelings with someone who is initially a stranger, and it requires a significant investment of time and money.
