Introduction

Hi, I’m Rachael, a Speech-Language Pathologist with nearly 30 years of experience helping individuals of all ages grow their communication skills. I specialize in speech sound development, tongue thrust, receptive and expressive language, and social communication. I have a passion for working with neurodiverse clients, including Autistic and ADHD individuals. I strive to honor each person’s natural communication style, embracing their strengths and supporting their individual needs while respecting their identity and how they experience the world. Whether in-person or through teletherapy, I’m committed to creating a warm, supportive space where every form of communication is acknowledged, respected, and celebrated.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Positive
Supportive
Kind
I describe myself as positive, supportive, and kind. As a neuroaffirming speech-language pathologist, I celebrate each client’s communicative strengths, focusing on what they can do rather than what they can’t. I meet each client where they are—whether that’s a toddler exploring new sounds, a child building language skills, an adolescent navigating communication challenges, or an adult working on self-expression. I embrace all forms of communication, from speech to AAC, with kindness and respect. My optimism and warmth create a safe space where every client feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I am best positioned to serve toddlers through adults, particularly Autistic and neurodiverse individuals. I thrive in supporting those working on speech sound development and helping them be understood through improved intelligibility. I also love working on receptive and expressive language skills, as well as fostering pragmatic language and social communication. My passion lies in creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for each client. I celebrate each person’s unique strengths and communication styles, meeting them where they are and guiding them to reach their fullest potential.
