Gives injections without consent what if they gave kids hormone injections that were irreversable Well Dr. Wells gave my son an unneeded shot. We contacted Chicagoa formal complaint. Drs are clear so you know Quincy- they can do whatever the heck they want with no reprecussions.
Dr Daniel Schneider is amazing The nurse that was in the office with me was awesome too Didnt get her name or comprehend if she said it. Super friendly for both of them She made sure I knew what was coming and what to expect. Dr Schneider came in and was quick and thorough. Talked through what he was doing and took my mind off the procedure. Hats of to all doctors and nurses especially these two Definitely recommend
I just moved into the area and needed to find a good walk-in medical clinic. I decided to visit Quincy Medical Group to get treated for an upper respiratory infection. When I came up to check in I was greeted by one of the most friendly front desk staffs I have encountered in the medical field. They found out I had a daughter and recommended a primary care physician for her which was great as we were going to start looking for one soon. They got me checked in quickly and I was called back by a nurse within two minutes after I sat down. The nurse was extremely friendly and took my vitals then let me know Dr. Wallace would be in to see me in a minute. Dr. Wallace came in almost immediately after the nurse left the room. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Definitely one of the nicest doctors I have met in quite some time. Knowing I was new to the area he also suggested a couple primary care physicians for me and also welcomed me to Quincy. It was genuinely one of the best experiences I have had in a doctors office and would highly recommend this group to anyone in the area. l know my family and I will be using Quincy Medical Group for all of our medical needs moving forward.
K. Fessenden tried to make my daughter with long hair a Transgender. She either jokingly or literally spoke with her nurse saying to kill her eggs. With a mosquito in the room as an excuse for a possible injection where she requested my daughter come back if she doesnt have her period. QMG is sick
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. In 2021 I had two doctor visits at QMG. It was first trimester visits for a pregnancy. They charged me 1890. For TWO appointments. Well they never even sent me a bill in the mail. On my kids life I never got a bill. My address never changed and neither did my phone number. So now here we are in 2024 come to find out they have sent me to collections saying I did not have insurance. I had Medicaid. I told them at the time of service I had Medicaid. I guess they never billed Medicaid I dont know. They are claiming that I did not have coverage. When I did. I have faxed in the papers proving I had insurance and they are now telling me that paperwork is not enough. This is an ongoing battle. Everyone Ive contacted to get this handled has also had horror stories about this place. Please dont go here. You will be stuck with Medical Bills that you dont rightfully owe. And then even when you prove that you were covered they will refuse your paperwork. This should be illegal. They wont even let me Dispute the debt even though I have proved I had insurance. THIS IS AN AWFUL PLACE. A SCAM. NOT TO MENTION THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST. Its so easy to do the right thing and here they are doing the wrong thing. This appointment was all basically blood work and a urine analysis. 1900 for that a literal nightmare. Jean Alexandre was the doctor. I do not recommend him either. I was pregnant why did he test me for HIV That test alone was over 160. Seriously just dont go here. Id give them negative stars if I could. Just save yourself the headache and go to blessing.
Dr.Alexandre delivered both of my sons and I was always laughing with both of them. I would recommend him to anyone.
I will never go anywhere else. The level of care at QMG has been amazing. Having to experience several surgeries per year I would never want to go elsewhere.
I love Dr. Maduakor. She has delivered both of my girls and does wonderful The only downfall I dread are most of her nurses. They have an attitude every-time I call with a question. One nurse is always polite and makes me feel appreciated as one of Maduakors patients. Thank you Ashley.I hope the others can work on their bed side manners and customer service skills.
I went for a specialist visit so I instantly knew the cost would be higher. I spoke with my doctor about having poor insurance and he still ordered nearly 600 in lab work. Having no idea what labs he ordered I had no idea my total bill for this one visit would be over 750. The same doctor also proscribed a medication that was 600 a month keep in mind that I did tell him multiple times how bad my insurance was So I am unableunwilling to take the medication that will likely make me better. So after I get the total bill for this visit I called to get a reduced payment. Every other hospitalclinic I have ever worked with has given me a cash discount and a full payment discount. This establishment doesnt do both. Im still not even sure what the small discount they do give is even for because they wouldnt explain it to me. They also told me that even if the cash rate was better than my insurance they couldnt do it because I technically had insurance.I then called multiple times to get my records sent to me. When I finally got a person several days later they told me they would fax them right over. Never got them. Then I called to speak with customer satisfaction so I could give them an honest review of my experience.....nothing. No call back. No survey sent. Left several messages. To give a quick and easy reference I called to get pricing for a routine colonoscopy. The surgery center there could do it for 6000 and the hospital could do it for 10000. I may have gotten those two switched. However when I called another location in Columbia MO the same procedure was only 2000-2500. That is insane.I will not be back to this establishment. The hidden costs the lack of transparency in their billing and the lack of having doctors who understand the unique situation with insurance and doing their best to work with a patient.
Dr Gold NEUROSURGEON saw my husband in the hospital. He performed an examination. Dr Gold was called in by the hospitalist. My husband was admitted thru E.R. for major pain in March 2020. This was his 2nd ER visit that week. We determined he had a pinched nerve in his left arm 2 days earlier at another ER. However something was still majorly wrong. Dr. Gold predicted a disk or disks in his neck were the cause. We werent able to get uimaging that dayhospital visit because the hospital didnt have Open MRI machine that would accommodate my husbands large sz. Further testing imaging a few days later revealed he had 2 herniated disks in his neck. Dr. Gokd was right. Dr. Gold is a good listener. He did not discriminate against my husband for being a big guy. He said he was ablewilling to help him. A few days later we saw Dr. Gold again in the office. Survery was set up as soon as they could get him in. Meanwhile..Dr. Gold made sure my husband was comfortable with proper medication while waiting for surgery.Dr Gold also did ny recent carpal tunnel surgery. Everything went as expected. I was a bit concerned having this surgery at the QMG surgery center. No worries..all was normal even with it not being a hospital. Dr. Gold is very professional knowledgable caring. Hes a down to earth guy. There needs to be Dr. Golds in this world .His staff is great too Anita Arnold is his nurse practioner. She is knowledgeable caring and focused. A great part of the team at QMG.So please check them out if you have a medical need relating to neurology.
Dr. Petty and his staff are wonderful service. I have surgery today and after two previous visits I feel very confident. The Medical group are prompt...

Your pediatrician might be able to administer screenings, but most general doctors are not trained to formally diagnose autism. They might refer you to a qualified diagnostic clinician which include:
- Developmental Pediatricians
- Child Psychologists
- Child Psychiatrists
- Pediatric Neurologists
- Pediatric Neuropsychologists
Your experience might look different depending on the type of clinician you choose. Many families prefer working with developmental pediatricians. Others might work with a psychiatrist or another specialist to get a different perspective.
A formal ASD diagnosis, or a medical diagnosis, helps you get the support your family needs, especially within the context of accessing medically necessary therapies and services.
- Insurance Coverage for Therapies: Medically necessary therapies for ASD are often covered by insurance including, but not limited to, speech therapy, ABA therapy, and occupational therapy.
- Financial Support: A diagnosis is required when applying for social security or disability benefits.
- Plan for Care: A diagnosis helps identify your child’s support needs. For example, your child might need to develop social communication and self-regulation skills.
- Future Research: The more data we gather through evaluations, the more we can improve services for autistic children and adults.

Yes, picky and selective eating is actually a quite common concern for children with autism. If you rolled your eyes looking at the steps above because your child with autism has never had a full day's serving of vegetables in their life, you are definitely not alone. As if getting kids to eat their veggies isn’t challenging enough, research shows children with autism have significantly more eating challenges than their peers who are not autistic.
In addition to sensory difficulties that can lead to a lot of anxiety with food, autistic children are 4x more likely to have gastrointestinal issues such as stomach pain and discomfort. This creates the perfect storm for extra extra picky eaters - and a lot of added obstacles and concerns for parents.
The difficulties associated with autistic children and food can cause a wide range of concerns from children being underweight to overweight (overweight children can still be at risk for nutritional deficiencies!). This can lead to slower than normal growth and nutritional deficiencies like low vitamin D and calcium levels. Even when given multivitamins, many children with autism are still found to have some of these nutritional deficiencies.
Here are some tips:
- Keep to a schedule - setting schedules for meal and snack time can help picky eaters build up their appetite throughout the day
- Minimize distractions - removing distractions like screens and toys can help your child be more engaged at mealtime
- Approach new foods together - Make new foods less scary by trying them together. Touching and smelling the food together before tasting it
- Support choice & control - Allowing your child to pick which foods they eat will help them feel more in control

It may not seem obvious, but eating is a complex behavior that involves perceptual, emotional, and cognitive processes. And we know that children with autism process things differently. While many of us look forward to things like our afternoon snack, it may be an activity that causes a lot of anxiety for your child.
Parents describe food selectivity being determined by a few of the following factors: texture (69%), appearance (58%), taste (45%), smell (36%), and temperature (22%). Uniform texture, bland and neutral color foods are reported to be overwhelmingly preferred by more than 90% of children with ASD.
