This has got to be the worst company Ive had the displeasure of working with. My husband and I gave it a real chance and had them work with my son for over a year. The technician was OK in the beginning and quickly stopped coming to appointments- had personal things like wedding cake tasting that he chose over coming in for work appointments were canceled 20 minutes before after I ran home from work and no reschedule was placed. Thats just the therapists which were not great. Theres also the billing department. I asked while my son was getting services with them what is my bill And I kept being told and emailed oh theres no bill. At one point I actually had a 600 bill after I asked them repeatedly what do I owe I dont like having an outstanding balance. The latest mess up with this company was I sent a payment for services he hasnt gotten in several months. I sent the past payments in check form a couple of months ago. They told me this week they couldnt find a check and were quick to email me about getting the payments for that. When I went to go check the checking acct I saw that the check was taken out after three months throwing off the money in my account. If they had taken out the check in a timely manner and not lost it to start with I wouldnt be stumbling to cover bills. I would not at all recommend this company to my worst enemy. Its doing a disservice for your children and just stressing out special needs parents more than they already are. Stay away from this company

Terrible experience. We had our BCBA evaluation done in early October. The BCBA was great but the coordinator was entirely uncommunicative. Then the coordinator changed with no warning and we were told by the new coordinator that they had found a technician to match our schedule FINALLY after almost two months. We were told she would be starting on Monday. I reached out again to confirm and the coordinator said that technician no longer had availability and asked if I would be ok with a temporary technician who could come for just one week starting at 5 or 6pm at night. Our son is 3 years old Then all of a sudden that technician no longer had availability. Long story short we paid 250 for a BCBA evaluation that led to NO SERVICES. This company is understaffed does not communicate and scams you to get their money upfront - STAY AWAY.

This has to be the worst company to work for. They use have great staff but immediately got rid of them because of faults of other who do not wish to take accountability of there actions. I was placed in unsafe conditions and placed in a situation where children where being abused. I was told if I can continue services outside of the home. My be in a mall or park. The issue was never reported and I was yet again blamed for the faults of others. I also blamed for time changes after I was with the client for several months and notified them of the situation. I was then blamed for not reporting it and was garnished a check. I also have text and voice mails of parents knowing of the time changes since they where the ones who place in this request. Also BT knew about it and meet me physically twice to run session with the child during the times parent requested. She became upset when I no longer wanted to work with a client she had set me up to work with. I felt weird and awkward when running session the entire family would look at me from the kitchen area. The where upset when I told them I cannot go to even session that didnt pertain proud moments protocol and it would be against the insurance policy. Session became even worse and I was unable to preform the best of my abilities a a BT during sessions. I was then immediately terminated for the faults of there own and standing up for myself. The pay is horrible for all the materials and work they give you its barely enough to put gas in your car. I use to love this company until they became messy. Horrible

ABA therapy period with Proud moment is about 9 month. During this time period changed many behavior technician. Initially get very good behavior technician but Admin team can not handle their own employee. Proud moment did not pay salary on-time to their employee. Due to this employee are leaving quickly. There is no transparent communication from Admin team.

I am a parent who receives services from Proud Moments and thus far I am extremely satisfied. My son has managed to extend his vocabulary in a time frame of 2 months.

IfI could have give no stars I would. This company is the worst company Ive ever came across. If you have a BC BA call Rachel run run and Ill look back. Because shes so lazy she doesnt train her behavior technicians. The company hire people who have no idea what theyre getting them self into. They have no experience. No type of knowledge at all. Just hire random people and they dont train them. I understand. If right now staffing is you know not great but sure hire someone with no experience but train them give them the education of they need to form a good job because after all day are taking care of your kids. Proud Moments doesnt care about the kids. They only care about the money and to be honest with you they would come to your house and not do nothing. It would just be like a babysitting service and not help your kid communicate. Oh whatever the case may be that their goals theyre working on I dont need a babysitting service because I work from home Im home. I need someone to help me help my son to be able to communicate so that he can minimize his behaviors. Thats what I need and as a company they are terrible at that damn mission is not to help your kids. Your mission is to collect money whether they are doing good or not they dont care they will continue to come to your house and not do nothing just waste your time in your childs time but not their time because theyre getting paid for it. Ive had two behavior technicians and I had to fire both of them . They were horrible. . they refuse to work on any goals. No goals were determined of what his goals are. Ive asked what are the goals What will he be working on None of them told me what the goals were and they didnt work on anything all they did was sat there with me and my son and played with him. One of them suggested I turn on the TV so he can watch TV and nursery rhymes. This company is horrible. It doesnt matter if youre in the city or in Long Island Staten Island wherever you are runaway from Proud Moments they are horrible. If you currently seeing them please make sure that theyre doing the best for your child and not wasting your time in your money or your sons or daughters time please be aware you will not see progress with them. Theyre horrible

Dont work here I was interviewed and was offered a position. I never received a response as to when where I will be working. I called to confirm that I still had a position and was told the person that interviewed me left. I called a few times even left messages. Themanager said the BCBA person would reach out to me via email and never did. There are a lot more ABA centers that are professional around the city and need people to start asap. Oh and I forgot to mention that this company offered me the lowest per hour.

The intake process was smooth a lot of paperwork but they seemed knowledgeable. The BCBA was too soft and inexperienced with ASD behaviors she thought my kid was cute with obsessive behaviors . The ABA therapist assigned was not a certified ABA therapist. They even sent me someone with first day on the job this is not a babysitting service Cant just send anyone off the boat. There was no consistency in therapy no real plan done before the start. Had it been planned well before the start they could have been successful. I the parent had to train them about my kid and what not to do. I am going now with a different agency and hoping to have a better experience. My child regressed within two weeks of ABA therapy with Proud Moments not so Proud to old behaviors that I worked for months to get rid off. With another 1.5 months of hard work at home on my own after letting the therapist go I put my kid back on track and made other progress. No one nowadays seems to care about their work let alone about your special needs child. They are there to clock in and out worry about their own family issues which you have to accommodate and make minimal progress. I need someone who would go above and beyond and make a better progress than the school. The audacity of the agency to tell me their therapist is trained and that I am better off sticking with what they have as its hard to find a staff. Number one in any psychology get yourself out of an environment thats hurting your psyche and not settle. This particular branch in Brooklyn are not qualified scam you by billing on the day of no service watch out dont accept Medicaid even though its covered and they must accept it. In 2 weeks the therapist had taken two days off was late for work after the first day drove my kid insane due to lack of consistency. If you cant have consistency in your service and qualified technician shut down the shop.

I worked for this company in Savannah Georgia and this was by far the WORST experience Ive ever encountered in 20 years of being employed. Leadership condones unethical and inappropriate behavior you become a target when you speak up and theyre racist Dont walk run This company is a complete waste of your time.

DO NOT WORK HERE You wont get paid. Literally.I worked for the Brooklyn location for a little over 2 months and was never paid. Still trying to battle this out. I cannot believe that they are not paying their employees.I corresponded with multiple people about being unable to convert my sessions and was simply given a written how to guide that never worked. Im extremely disappointed. The kids were awesome thoughover 1 year later and I still havent been paid for 2 months of work. Nobody ever contacted me despite what the reply says.
