I dont have enough words to say how much I love PDHS The teachers and staff went above and beyond to give my son the best education possible. He grew by leaps and bounds at this school. Proud that he is a PD graduate

Melissa the admissions director spun me around in circles for weeks to avoid having a direct conversation with me. I shouldve let it go but I wanted to try everything I could for my son. I also had members from the Board of Education and my sons advocates attempting to contact her about the problems my son was having in public school and she ignored those men as well. I went up to the school after another parent told me she spoke with her and told me to come up but I guess she forgot she said that because she snuck around the corner behind the door and told the secretary to get rid of me. I could tell by the secretarys demeanor she didnt want to deal with me then told me Usually when you dont hear back that means someone isnt interested and then handed me another useless application when I had filled out one several weeks prior. If that was the case about a job yes but not a school thats supposed to help special needs children. Sad that I hear so many wonderful things about this school but theyre selective about who they want to help. I dont expect special treatment but a 5 minute conversation with Melissa is apparently also asking for too much. Everyone asks me why my son doesnt go to Potential. Well folks they just werent interested.

I dont recommend AT ALL Im still FAR BEHIND from were I need to be. The did not help at all in stead they just let be fall behind without doing anything. Not giving me and help or any alternative to help me get a head. I would rather be in a public school the here.

This school is the best place for students with autism or down syndrome. The student to teacher ratio is low and the results when students graduate from when they started is amazing.
