I have no complaints about my doctor Dr. Salmon. She is excellent. My biggest complaint is the customer service I received when they called to tell me about an insurance issue. The woman spoke with was very snide and apathetic. She kept saying they didnt have the resources to notify all their patients when there was a problem with billing. Only after four appointments did they let me know I had an issue with my insurance and that I would have to pay it all out of pocket. She was unwilling to help and unwilling to listen. In my opinion not a very good attitude to have working at a mental health clinic.

Ive been a patient here for 4 years. The office staff are excellent. All of the receptionists and other people who help me access and arrange care have gone above and beyond to do so. The staff in general are passionate about arranging and providing meaningful care. My psychiatrist in particular has demonstrated exceptional skill care and empathy. 4 stars instead of 5 because the only therapist Ive seen at this practice had been working with me for around a year before she decided shes not suited read skilled enough to continue taking further appointments with me- during a time where we both knew I had high support needs. The office though acknowledges those needs and reached out to me to provide meaningful resources in finding future care. A for the office and my doctor F for that one particular therapy provider. Dont let the 1 star reviews dissuade you this is a place that cares.

Dr Stephenson is a highly respected doctor I have been seeing her since I was 30 years old and she has been beyond amazingShe is professional good listener committed always follows through great resources..I am so grateful to have her as a doctor.Staff that work in the office are amazing also

Dont even bother. I scheduled a first appointment with them over a month ago because I needed to find a new psychiatrist to continue my medication. I had mixed my first appointment date up to see a psychiatrist and naturally I called to try and reschedule. They told me because I missed this appointment they would not reschedule me or allow me to ever go there. What kind of practice is that Considering that this is an office in the mental health field you would think theyd be more understanding that it happens sometimes and a lot of mental illnesses cause an increase in forgetfulness. It doesnt help that I never got a call closer to the appointment to confirm. Now Im stuck sitting here having a panic attack and trying to find a new psychiatrist with no refills left on my medication. Thanks for nothing.

I saw a PA provider at Plaza Phsycology for roughly 2 years. I dont like to criticize condemn or complain. Consider this community service. Just the facts.Until 124 I was pinned in a zombie state at 1750 depakote. I was locked in the depths of it. I requested medicine changes which were denied on three occasions. The attitude was a matter of fact condescending and lackadaisical. She refused to meet with me face to face despite 3 requests to do so even though all other providers in the practice do so daily to my knowledge. She lives in RI. I silently terminated the relationship in April 22 2022 and continued to take deathacote until I ran out on my birthday 124. Not the way to go but I had a new doctor lined up Dr. Shadlyn at Lifespan for Dec appt.I requested records which reflected a cut and paste of previous records back to my second appointment. I was beside myself. I have no record of my issues with the med or my requests to change as a result. Its a game and being a mental health patient its my word against hers. I left msgs with the Director with a brief overview requesting Dr. change that went unreturned. They dont care.Im now on a low dose Abilify and Trazadone. I sleep 6.5 hours a night and feel like a new man. My outlook is great. My mood is slightly elevated but manageable. I can smile laugh and feel a range of emotions with no dramatic swings. Im happy despite my challenges. Cant recommend Dr. Shadlyn high enough. She is new to the area so I recommend get in now if you are seeking a new Doctor. She will see you face to face and call you back same day if needed.As a fellow patient who will never be cured of the affliction I hope this note provides good information to others who can move forward with awareness. I was wrong in not gaining my record and changing docs earlier so thats on me. But I was weak then. Not anymore Brian

I left a review about the rude receptionist one time and Im going to leave another review. I felt like I was being over dramatic and deleted my previous comment. But Im clearly not. The receptionist messed up on my appointment didnt give me the right appointment time and then decided to schedule the appointment for the following week while I was standing in her office telling me that she told me the right date in the right time the previous day before... I got the email when I got to my car that she scheduled my appointment for next week. Every time I go there the receptionists are short and rude and they dont seem to comprehend that theyre dealing with patients who have mental health issues. I am one point was on the phone with someone and One of the receptionist open up the window and yelled at me... As a grown adult yelled at me to get off my phone and gestured for the sign. Instead of asking me politely to take a step outside the office or just reminding me hey theres no phone policy. Theres no reason to be yell.I love the providers that Ive so far seen throughout the practice but I really am having a tough time with these receptionist.

Dont use this place I had to cancel an intake appointment and the woman who answered the phone said I would never be allowed back because that is their policy. Its clear this place does not value care of others only profit.

Katelyn Agnew scheduled us for an appointment then did not show up and billed us for a missed appointment. She then started that if we didnt pay shed stop my sons meds. She did not assist in any way in stepping down his dose she left him with no choice but cold turkey and responded essentially that it sounded like a ME problem.Awful.

This place is horrible and very unprofessional I canceled my appointment a few times. They now dont want to take me back for no fault of my own when I was stuck at work because I could not leave because it would be consider patient abandonment. Also there systems were down yesterday the NP Katelyn Agnew was late for 25minitues to my appointment. Thats not my fault your systems were down and I had to reschedule again due to other responsibilities I had to go through and because I was consider a new patient I didnt realize that my appointment was going to be an hour long This is how you treat your patients because you dont want to deal with them because of cancelation to no fault of there own.Basically my health is on the line because of this. They obviously dont care about there patients I should of trusted my gut feeling when the receptionist Sara was also rude and very professional in the beginning and I gave this place another try because I wanted to atleast give the place a chance obviously they dont care about taking care patients at all STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Dont put your life in the care of these irresponsible providers. I came to them 2 years ago for medication management. I was an intelligent stable person with an anxiety disorder. After 5 visits and several medication changes they had messed me up so bad that I was admitted to the hospital near death with medication toxicity. They missed every warning sign and made every wrong decision possible in my care. The doctors during my 3 week stay in intensive care were finally able to stabilize me and I lived. But not without impairment. After dozens of doctors many many hours of physical therapy and working my ass off I am no longer in the wheelchair but use a cane and I am in constant pain. after 2 years The doctors say there is nothing more they can do for me. I am permanently disabled. I cant drive cant shop for myself my life will never be the same. My wish is that NO one else ever have to live through what I have. Please dont ever blindly trust anyone Especially them
