Play & Say Pediatric Therapy Services

I started sending my first son to Play Say when he was 18 months. He started in a short social program and I loved it so much there that he continued to go until he was 5 Marguerite was his teacher for most of that time and she is absolutely incredible. She has taught both my kids so much and they love her I felt that with all the programs I did with them it improved my sons verbal and social skills and he had such a great time. My other son also started going there since 18 months and is still there now. Every therapist there is incredibly knowledgeable in their fields and are all willing to answer questions and give feedback on how your child is doing. I have always felt completely safe with my kids there. They go above and beyond for every child who goes there and cater to each childs needs. If you want a warm environment with wonderful teachers whether you need any services or just want a little extra help- play and say is for you Could not recommend them enough

My 6 year old has been attending play and say since the age of 2 12 for speech related services. Since day one my family and I have had the pleasure of watching how much they care for our child and the other children she interacts with in general. With each day in the program my daughter has continued to make improvements due to the effectiveness of the services the staff consistently provide. They are knowledgeable in their field and provide expert strategies to achieve the best success with each child by recognizing all of their differences and treating each child with individualized plans tailored to their needs. At play say they are loving compassionate and are willing to go above and beyond. Play and Say provides a feeling of safety and security that is felt not only by us as parents but also by our child who has made major improvements and is consistently excited to attend the program. Play Say is a place that I continue to tell to anyone that may be in need of services for the development of their child overall. They also offer different programs and groups besides their one to one services as well that help to develop socialization skills overall.

My son is the proud by-product of the amazing work Play Say has done to improve his speech delay over the last two years. The staff - Ms. Angela Ms. Jess Ms. Lisa and Ms. Marguerite - have all played a pivotal part in his success. I look back at videos from this time last year and cant believe the word explosion he has had and his conversations are almost full sentences. We have be a part of their summer camp program and 11 speech sessions where weve been a part of and given homework. This place is a GEM.

Its a great place for my toddler. All the staffs are helpful and responsive. Its a small class and they pay more attention to each kid than other places. Play and say has lots of different activities for the kids. My toddler never gets bored and always have fun. My toddler feels safe and comfortable. Therefore I highly recommend this place to any parents.

The absolute best place and therapists My son went to Ms. Lisa for Speech Therapy for two years. Then we sent my younger son for socialization classes with Ms. Marguerite. Perfect classes for getting little ones development on track and prepared for their first schooling experience.

My 2 y.o. was a very picket eater. Obsessed with milk and it was the only thing she wanted to consume ALL day.Lisa helped us ween her off the bottle completely and stop middle of the night feedings.She had about 6 weeks of food therapy and it was the best decision ever. She improved tremendously. Shes now eating Waffles pancakes. Ramen noodles cheerios rice nuggets.She has 1 or 2 cups a milk a day without an issue. She now only drinks from an open cup or a cup with a straw.Ever now and then she asks to speak to Ms Lisa to show her that shes eating which is cute. She misses her.Another plus all of our sessions were virtual. Evaluation was in person.Thank you to Lisa and her team

I absolutely love the therapy provided by this wonderful facility The therapists are knowledgable professional and experts in so many areasThey used PROMPT techniques and myo which are two specialities that were difficult to find in Bay Ridge. My niece loved coming here for her therapy sessions not only did her therapist help her with her speech sounds but she also made it fun and excitingThe owners are dedicated and passionate it is clear they truly love what they do They were always available to answer any questions and helped me find the resources I needed without any hesitation.P.S their sensory and group sessions were also a fan favoritePlay and say is the best around

This place is very deceiving. My child went here for 8 months. I was shock to find out my child was not receiving speech therapy but left to play on his own with play dough the whole time while the therapist did personal things and have personal chats with other therapists. Its unprofessional that other therapists would engage with personal chats and allow this to happen while working with a child. It also creates anxiety for the child. I paid approximately 80 for 30 minute sessions. I made it clear to the director but never received a response. I will be sharing the audios to warn other parents.

We are huge fans of PS - Ms Margarite Ms Jessica Ms Angela and team are superb.They are wonderful with children the play-learn area is well lit and organized.Lobby is sized well though it may get a bit tight with numerous adults around.Plus this location is easily reachable via transit. Ample coffee shops around to help with the wait for drop offpick ups.Ms Angela is always responsive to inquiries and promptly handles enrollment.And a special shout out to Ava she is a stellar assistant - friendly attentive and clicks well with the kids.
