Physicians Immediate Care - Plainfield North

Extremely rude and unprofessional front desk lady. She was cutting me off mid-sentence. She text me about my insurance but didnt respond when I asked if I should change my appointment. When I called she had a chip on her shoulder as if I were to already know the information she was telling me. This was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had with any PIC. I will never trust this location with my care. If this is the attitude they allow in the front office I can only imagine how rude and disrespectful the rest of the staff must be.ETA I called another PIC and they verified that my insurance is in fact in-network which I already knew because I have been to several locations over the past few years. So this front desk lady was either lying about my insurance or too lazy to add another appointment to their day. Either way I do NOT recommend the Plainfield location on route 59. Save yourself the headache of dealing with her and choose another location. ANY other location.

Physicians Immediate Care in Plainfield is the place I always go when I need urgent care. Appointments are easy to book and the medical staff is awesome. They do a great job of diagnosing conditions and prescribing an approach that gets you on the fast track to feeling better

DO NOT GO HERE BILLING NIGHTMARE Service was fantastic when my son broke his arm. Unfortunately their billing department is a nightmare. Insurance paid the bill for the service right away. Physicians Immediate Care has misapplied the payment and shows it has not been received. We have been trying to resolve the billing issue with for months with no cooperation from Physicians Immediate Care I have offered to send the explanation of benefits call the insurance company together have requested to talk to a supervisor over 10x no response or call back and have sent several emails no response. They refuse to receive anything from me they refuse to talk to the insurance company with me on the phone and will not call them directly and I never get a call back from a supervisor. From an insurance perspective this claim is paid and closed. The bill has been paid for over three months and they are threatening collections. We are at the point of escalating this issue as insurance fraud by Physicians Immediate care. Patients beware After HOURS on the phone over several months we are no step closer to a resolution.

I love this place. Everybody is always so nice and efficient. They are very professional with kindness. Easy to get appts wait time is limited and they can do limited xrays and testing onsite. I very much recommend this specific location. Ive used it amost a dozen times starting during early covid days due to exposures for testing.

Visited this location for my 3 12 year-old who needed stitches. He was obviously very upset but everyone in the office was very welcoming and helpful. I cannot say enough positive things about Elodie Schembri She helped my son feel at ease and explained everything she did as she did it. She was so sweet to my son and my youngest child and really helped a very scary situation go smoothly. We will 100 come back to this location anytime we need an urgent care. Thank you all

I recently fell and hurt my wrist and was concerned it might be broken. Having spent 7-8 hours at the ER previously I did not want to go back there. I was seen very promptly and taken care of within an hour here. Everybody was friendly and helpful and made my experience so good . I would definitely recommend physicians immediate care.

Ive gone here a few times over the last few years. Ive been here for anything from Covid tests to sprained fingers to hey this looks weird help type of ailments. No matter what theyve always been efficient kind and thorough. Even in the beginning of the lockdown they worked their butts off to make sure as many people were safe and healthy as possible. I just went in last night and I was met with nothing but kindness. The woman working the front desk made my night the male nurse I believe he was a nurse kept me comfortable and laughing the whole time and both practitioners listened thoroughly and made sure to provide me with the best help. I visited the Plainfield North location. I was able to reserve a spot pre-register online received confirmation updates by text. I didnt have to wait long when I arrived all the staff was friendly professional. The facility was bright clean welcoming. I had a positive experience will return here if I need an urgent cars in the future.

I was in for respiratory illness in November. The nurse practitioner seemed to think my cough and difficulty breathing was just allergies but said she would prescribe cough medication and an inhaler. It took 4 phone calls to get anything sent to the pharmacy 2 days later and then she said she never said anything about medication and only sent an inhaler. I wound up in the ER with pneumonia a week later where the ER doctor wondered how I let my cough and illness get so bad. Do not recommend this immediate care. Very frustrating and a waste of time and money.
