Talk about an efficient friendly and caring urgent care experience. I went in yesterday due to a minor scooter accident the week before where I didnt seek care when it happened. My knee began swelling in pain and pressure days later and this place was top tier in providing me with much needed labs to ensure nothing was fractured or broken. I really appreciate the scheduling system and ease of seeing someone. My new go to for non medical emergencies.

I love the service I always get at Physicians Immediate Care. I have used two different locations and the customer service is great throughout. The online registration is extremely helpful and efficient. The option to pre-register makes the waiting time super fast. The staff is friendly and the providers have been very knowledgeable and helped our family in multiple occasions. Highly recommended

I normally go to a different PIC but I moved and decided to try this one. I just needed a TB screen done and have had a rough experience before when getting my blood drawn but Adriann R. got me on the first try. She was very kind receptive to what I was saying and did an amazing job. Reception and the PA were also nice and I plan on making this my PIC home base.

I had a disappointing experience at this clinic. I accompanied my family members for a medical examination only to be blindsided by unexpected additional charges for a consultation. The total cost was outrageously high prompting us to seek services elsewhere. To make matters worse the staff at the reception were unhelpful when I requested a refund directing me to contact the billing department. Despite following their instructions and waiting patiently I was met with further frustration as the charges were untraceable when I tried to pursue a refund. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I would caution others to be wary of hidden fees and poor customer service at this establishment.

The service is fine. HOWEVER ever since they were bought by WellNow they have changed their billing policy and they DO NOT tell you this up front. I went in for a visit on 20824 and they asked for my health insurance card which I provided. They requested a copay but in reality the copay was in no way linked to what my insurance was paying so they never really verified the benefits with my insurance before charging me what in effect is a deposit. Since I used my FSA card the random deposit amount I paid is way above what I should have paid now that my insurance paid their claim. So I am stuck in a nightmarish hell and complete waste of my time due entirely to their deceptive billing practices arguing between my FSA custodian and WellNow billing because they owe me money which I need to pay back to my FSA who has been rejecting my expense since February.

I made an appointment at this urgent care late in a Monday night and had to wait about 20 minutes before being seen by the nicest nurses and PA. They listened to what I was feeling and took several test. The PA was very attentive to my symptoms and ordered me an antibiotic. They checked up on my through text and phone calls and the overall process was seamless. I will be coming back the next time in sick

This urgent care location was great I booked an appointment but ended up going 2 hours earlier to get it done and I only waited about 10 to 15 minutes to be seen which is much less than other urgent care facilities Ive been to. The physicians assistant was so understanding and calming especially bc the procedure I needed done was painful. She was very good and I would highly recommend her to other patients her name is Brittany Tunon.Edited to include yes you have my consent to post on your website. The Google review system wont let me reply to your reply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your pediatrician might be able to administer screenings, but most general doctors are not trained to formally diagnose autism. They might refer you to a qualified diagnostic clinician which include:
Developmental Pediatricians
Child Psychologists
Child Psychiatrists
Pediatric Neurologists
Pediatric Neuropsychologists
Your experience might look different depending on the type of clinician you choose. Many families prefer working with developmental pediatricians. Others might work with a psychiatrist or another specialist to get a different perspective.
A formal ASD diagnosis, or a medical diagnosis, helps you get the support your family needs, especially within the context of accessing medically necessary therapies and services.
Insurance Coverage for Therapies: Medically necessary therapies for ASD are often covered by insurance including, but not limited to, speech therapy, ABA therapy, and occupational therapy.
Financial Support: A diagnosis is required when applying for social security or disability benefits.
Plan for Care: A diagnosis helps identify your child’s support needs. For example, your child might need to develop social communication and self-regulation skills.
Future Research: The more data we gather through evaluations, the more we can improve services for autistic children and adults.
The occupational therapy process includes an OT evaluation before care starts. Here are the four steps your family can expect when starting occupational therapy:
Complete OT evaluation. An occupational therapist first identifies your child’s strengths and needs through a thorough OT evaluation, also known as an OT assessment or screening. You’ll answer questions about your child’s skills, and your child will most likely demonstrate their skills via hands-on activities with the therapist. Evaluations can last 30 minutes to a few hours.
Approve OT plan. The therapist develops a care plan with individualized goals and customized interventions based on your child’s needs. You can also share any specific goals or concerns before approving the OT plan.
Start therapy sessions. The therapist works directly with your child and your family, using various strategies and exercises to systematically improve areas of limitations and to build upon a child’s strengths. Some exercises your child might participate in are animal walks, obstacle courses, and therapy swing activities. Your family may learn strategies for supporting your child’s individualized needs at home, such as ways of supporting emotional regulation and sensory processing. The therapist may also recommend tools and techniques to use at home, in the community, or in the classroom to help your child succeed.
Monitor your child’s progress. Parents and caregivers can expect ongoing progress monitoring and communication to ensure the child is achieving their short and long-term goals.
Occupational therapy can also be provided virtually via telemedicine. Virtual therapy is a great option for families in rural areas who may not have access to in-person services, or for families who prefer to have therapy in their child’s home.
Virtual OT allows the opportunity for increased caregiver participation and understanding of a child’s strengths, areas of improvement, and generalization of skills in the child’s home environment. Virtual therapy also provides increased opportunities for caregiver and family education to support the child and the family based on each family’s needs.
Once you find a quality physical therapist you want to work with, here are a few things you need to know:
There will be an evaluation. First, you can expect an assessment to identify your child’s areas of strength and needs. A physical therapy evaluation usually lasts 30 minutes.
You’ll review and approve the care plan. The physical therapist will create a care plan, also known as a plan of care (POC), outlining the goals and strategies. They will review this with you and your care team before moving forward with therapy sessions.
Physical therapy sessions will be fun. PT with children is designed to be enjoyable. The therapist will use strategies and exercises based on your child’s needs. Exercises might involve playing on large stability balls, obstacle courses, movement equipment, stretches, and other hands-on activities.
Expect home exercises. Physical therapists commonly assign exercises to work on at home. Doing these exercises with your child outside therapy sessions can improve your child’s overall progress.
Yes! Most providers offer physical therapy in their offices or a clinical setting, but many are offering at-home options. Virtual options have become more popular in recent years. You might facilitate care with the guidance of the physical therapist.
Pediatric physical therapy is considered safe and should not hurt. Autistic children spend their time in PT moving and exploring their environment. If you are concerned about your child experiencing pain during certain exercises, especially if they may struggle to communicate and advocate for modifications, speak with their physical therapist about your concerns.
