I took my son there for his small injury and was looking to check if he would need tetnus shot. I reached at 732 PM and I was told cut off is 730 PM but it says they are open 8am-8pm. I have been there before and I really liked how welcoming the staff and doctors were but apparently not anymore.

Be aware that no walk ins are accepted after 7pm even the location is open until 8pm. Driving and wasting time after injury its not something people would like to be doing.

I was a seen yesterday as an urgent care patient. I was running a fever and had a sinus infection. Everyone there was so nice from the front desk to the nurse and nurse practitioner. All were very attentive thorough and concerned. I was in and out in a short amount of time. I would definitely come again. Thank you all for your compassion and kindness

I stopped in on 410 for a midday appointment to have a cough and sore throat looked at. Everyone was so helpful the nurse who did my intake was so kind and friendly as someone who often gets some anxiety at medical offices she made me feel at ease almost immediately. The RN who came to see me answered all my questions explained everything clearly. Everyone was wonderful.

We were seen promptly. Assessment was professional and thorough as well as caring as my child felt very unwell and the clinical demeanor was soothing. Would definitely return for urgent care concerns.

This complaint is for the Aurora office. So lets start off with the first problem. I get out of my car walk up to the door its full of snow its not even shoveled. They dont even have a shovel. I wouldve shoveled gladly for them. I got there about 11 or 12 Im not sure I called two times in the morning 8 oclock and 9 oclock no one would answer. I walk in the door. What do I see a receptionist sitting next to the phone I checked in she does not tell me the wait time and theres only about six people there so I figured it wouldnt be too bad Im not sick. I was referred to this place from the hospital which I had stitches at. So at an hour and a half and Im the last person on my side of the waiting room I asked the lady do you know how long itll be she said it will be another hour so that makes it 2 12 hours. So my suggestion for this place is which makes total sense. Someone not sick and are coming in for some thing like stitches to be remove and a random drug test for work. Ask me if I want to wait or set me up with an appointment for the next day. So I dont take up a spot for somebody thats sick or answer the phone once in a while not everything in life is an app or website. In conclusion tell people how long the wait might be Suggest an appointment for the next day.. Answer the phone people may need answer questions answered. Buy a 10 shovel so the person in the wheelchair can get in the building. Ok so now its the next day my appointment is at 930 AM and I get a text message that says if I dont get there they will not hold my spot. I get there right at 930 and check in Wait another 40 minutes take my drug test. Now Im sitting in the office and the doctor comes in. Takes my stitches out in about three minutes. This whole thing took about five hours with waiting and driving back-and-forth for two days. To get my stitches out which took three minutes. I do want to say the doctors and the staff were nice and I did have a talk to the lady in the front nicely. I also told her I brought a shovel from home and I shoveled the front sidewalk and the entryway.

The wait in the lobby was a bit long but wasnt terrible. Once called back performed some vision tests and then went into the room to provide medical history. Everything else seemed to move rather quickly and before long the doctor was in the room discussing what could be the possible cause for my visit. She was very friendly and very empathetic while speaking with my wife and I.

Physicians Immediate Care is long overdue for a review but its not a bad one by all means. The Doctors that work here and saw me all helped me in a workplace injury case and were by no means rude hostile or aggressive. They were honest and respectful as ever and I was happy to be a patient here. I was heard and thoroughly examined and was given a very high level of care and honesty that I was not expecting to receive. Their clinic is amazing and I highly recommend this location if you ever need through doctors to make sure you recover.Their physical therapy staff are also amazing and awesome people as well as funny caring and overall amazing to work with. During the entire process I was there there was never a day I wasnt smiling while going through my exercises and the jokes and stories they share always uplifted me and my mood when I felt like I was struggling with my recovery. I was happy to have been there and will return again in a heartbeat if I ever need to go through physical therapy again. I highly encourage anyone going through any physical issues that require therapy to visit this location. You will be in good hands and your recovery will go smooth under their guidance and care.Overall this facility clinic and physical therapy sides create a powerful and outstanding level of care for their patients and I am happy to have been there as part of my recovery process.

The experience I had was wonderful. From the staff to the Doctor. The staff were friendly and took the time to answer my questions. The Doctor was compassionate and even took the time to express his related experience to my condition. Thank you for restoring my faith in the medical field and the human race with everything going on in the world right now

Decided to give this place a try when my 9 year old daughter had been suffering with a headache fever for 4 days and I didnt want to wait till Monday to see her regular pediatrician. The Northwestern Medicine immediate care down on Church Rd took forever just to learn that it would be a 1 hr 10 min wait and Ive rarely been impressed with their service. I made an appointment online for Physicians Immediate Care got right in after I filled out the form the front desk girl was very nice as well as the nurse docPA. Even my daughter said she would go back there again if she ever needed care.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your pediatrician might be able to administer screenings, but most general doctors are not trained to formally diagnose autism. They might refer you to a qualified diagnostic clinician which include:
Developmental Pediatricians
Child Psychologists
Child Psychiatrists
Pediatric Neurologists
Pediatric Neuropsychologists
Your experience might look different depending on the type of clinician you choose. Many families prefer working with developmental pediatricians. Others might work with a psychiatrist or another specialist to get a different perspective.
A formal ASD diagnosis, or a medical diagnosis, helps you get the support your family needs, especially within the context of accessing medically necessary therapies and services.
Insurance Coverage for Therapies: Medically necessary therapies for ASD are often covered by insurance including, but not limited to, speech therapy, ABA therapy, and occupational therapy.
Financial Support: A diagnosis is required when applying for social security or disability benefits.
Plan for Care: A diagnosis helps identify your child’s support needs. For example, your child might need to develop social communication and self-regulation skills.
Future Research: The more data we gather through evaluations, the more we can improve services for autistic children and adults.
The occupational therapy process includes an OT evaluation before care starts. Here are the four steps your family can expect when starting occupational therapy:
Complete OT evaluation. An occupational therapist first identifies your child’s strengths and needs through a thorough OT evaluation, also known as an OT assessment or screening. You’ll answer questions about your child’s skills, and your child will most likely demonstrate their skills via hands-on activities with the therapist. Evaluations can last 30 minutes to a few hours.
Approve OT plan. The therapist develops a care plan with individualized goals and customized interventions based on your child’s needs. You can also share any specific goals or concerns before approving the OT plan.
Start therapy sessions. The therapist works directly with your child and your family, using various strategies and exercises to systematically improve areas of limitations and to build upon a child’s strengths. Some exercises your child might participate in are animal walks, obstacle courses, and therapy swing activities. Your family may learn strategies for supporting your child’s individualized needs at home, such as ways of supporting emotional regulation and sensory processing. The therapist may also recommend tools and techniques to use at home, in the community, or in the classroom to help your child succeed.
Monitor your child’s progress. Parents and caregivers can expect ongoing progress monitoring and communication to ensure the child is achieving their short and long-term goals.
Occupational therapy can also be provided virtually via telemedicine. Virtual therapy is a great option for families in rural areas who may not have access to in-person services, or for families who prefer to have therapy in their child’s home.
Virtual OT allows the opportunity for increased caregiver participation and understanding of a child’s strengths, areas of improvement, and generalization of skills in the child’s home environment. Virtual therapy also provides increased opportunities for caregiver and family education to support the child and the family based on each family’s needs.
Once you find a quality physical therapist you want to work with, here are a few things you need to know:
There will be an evaluation. First, you can expect an assessment to identify your child’s areas of strength and needs. A physical therapy evaluation usually lasts 30 minutes.
You’ll review and approve the care plan. The physical therapist will create a care plan, also known as a plan of care (POC), outlining the goals and strategies. They will review this with you and your care team before moving forward with therapy sessions.
Physical therapy sessions will be fun. PT with children is designed to be enjoyable. The therapist will use strategies and exercises based on your child’s needs. Exercises might involve playing on large stability balls, obstacle courses, movement equipment, stretches, and other hands-on activities.
Expect home exercises. Physical therapists commonly assign exercises to work on at home. Doing these exercises with your child outside therapy sessions can improve your child’s overall progress.
Yes! Most providers offer physical therapy in their offices or a clinical setting, but many are offering at-home options. Virtual options have become more popular in recent years. You might facilitate care with the guidance of the physical therapist.
Pediatric physical therapy is considered safe and should not hurt. Autistic children spend their time in PT moving and exploring their environment. If you are concerned about your child experiencing pain during certain exercises, especially if they may struggle to communicate and advocate for modifications, speak with their physical therapist about your concerns.
