Pediatric Urgent Care For Kids in Hulen

The worst place After scheduling appointment online we had to wait for almost 30 minutes for the receptionist to tell me that she couldnt verify our insurance which has never happened anywhere else before or since I could tell that there was something seriously wrong with my baby girl so I told her that Ill just pay out of pocket and then we can figure it out. She couldnt care less about the state of my daughters health as she gave me another piece of paper and asked me to choose from the options that were listed no explanation she said I need to read through them and select that applies. my frustration kept growing as my daughters health state was visibly worsening. I took my daughter and drove to Cooks ER she had hypoglycemia so timing was of the most importanceThis incident occurred in August 2023

Our 3 year old son was having problems breathing. Thats why they moved so fast and was much appreciated. He was tested for flu and COVID but NOT RSV. After being at your center for maybe 2 hours we were directed to go to Cooks Childrens Hospital to ensure his breathing was at a 96 or better consistently. As soon as we got to the ER at Cooks he was immediately checked for FLU COVID RSV. He was positive for RSV. So we appreciate the PA thoroughness when checking our son we did end up getting a 2k medical bill from hospital for ER visit. So frustrating and so NOT in our budget to cover. If only they would have tested him for RSV at Urgent care the 2 albuterol treatments and nebulizer sent home with us could have been avoid. Plus he prescribed a steroid and more albuterol for daily usage to help him with breathing. Thank God is remembered fo as the ER Dr about NOT giving him those prescriptions since he tested positive for RSV. IT would nice if Urgent Care covered the unnecessary bill we have now plus the 4 hours going through that entire process with other children while 6 mos pregnant wasnt easy. Thanks for helping but why didnt we check him for RSV The 2300 question

I hate the American health care system. Save time and call in advance to see if they take your insurance before wasting time registering.They did give a courtesy call saying they didnt take our insurance but after we were on our way and had gone through the online registration process. This could have been avoided with a simple web page listing acceptable insurance providers.

This location used to be my favorite due to how friendly and courteous the staff was. Providers were always upbeat quick and very attentive. During my visit yesterday the front desk seemed to be a bit distracted with emailing on their phones regarding a personal matter. We arrived at a non peak time and didnt have any patients in front of us which was great Our nurse was awesome He made my daughter comfortable and was very sweet to her during her swab. However the 7 minutes that we were told our result would take resulted in us being there for 2.5 hrs. Provider then came in for two minutes to tell us that shes calling in meds and sent us on our way. I dont even recall her touching or even really examining anything on my child. Overall service has certainly changed a bit here.

We came here to get our 6 month old checked out at a precautionary measure. We checked in online an hour before our time slot. Upon arrival the urgent care was very bare not a lot of comfortable seating. They didnt have the proper equipment to take basic medical information for babies it took 10 min to get his pulse oxygen and heart rate. We waiting in the back room for over an hour and by the time the nurse practitioner came in she didnt have any of her equipment and repeatedly left the room to grab things. The establishment was also very ghetto not cleanly. I dont know why this place has good reviews but judging on the clientele it seems pretty low on the bar. We will not be coming back by far the worst experience weve had at a pediatric facility.

There was nothing urgent about the front desk. I was there with my sick 2 year old as a walk-in before they opened so that we could be the first into the clinic. They didnt unlock the door until 3 minutes after they were supposed to open because some of the staff had gone to pick up food from Panda Express. I could see others inside behind the counter for 20 minutes before that. Once the doors were unlocked the woman at the front desk informed me that I might have to wait awhile since I didnt have an appointment and the next available appointment was 2.5 hours later. I pointed out that there was no else there. The next patient to arrive wasnt there until 20 minutes after I got there and I still had to wait a total of 30 minutes before being called back - again with no other patients there at all. Once called back the doctor was great but the front desk leaves much to be desired. I felt my sick child and I were completely unimportant to them as there was nothing urgent about being seen.

The visit was terrible. We came in because I have a toddler who hurt their foot wasnt really sure of the injury. When the doctor came in the room she just stood there and looked. She didnt even touch the foot she was in and out so fast like she didnt even care. basically a waste of time she didnt give us suggestions on what to do or reassure us at all. Her best advice was to take her to her primary care doctor. So Ill probably get a bill but I didnt receive any help. Wouldnt recommend this place.

It sucks. Theres a balance on my kids account that shouldnt be there. I wasnt informed until I showed for the appointment and they were nice about it but I had to explain to my kid why we had to find another option for them. When I called to address the balance no answer just that they ate having high calls and I got a message that I should get a call back within 2 to 3 business days. I really liked this clinic but price gouging may be an end to a 5 star experience.

The many times we have gone to the Urgent care for kids - Hulen or Mansfield weve been lucky to see the same provider The experience at both location has been great so far The providers that weve seen are pretty thorough and on top very caring with us the staff has been great. I highly recommend either locations. The online appointment has been really convenient for me and have not had any issues using it and pretty accurate to appointment time. But with any urgent care especially pediatric urgent care we know appointment time can run a little behind.

This place is far more that awesome. People who leave bad reviews for this location are probably miserable. The staff is always amazing I come to this place all the time and ever regret it. Shot out to the hard working staff. Love you guys Keep up the great work Hulen is so lucky to have a great place to take sick children

Ive never been to this place and got a bill from here...then when I called no one picked up and it went to a mailbox that is full...seems shady honestly....
