Pediatric Specialists of Virginia

Try to go anywhere else but here. Doctors and office staff are fine administration is horrific. I had my sons medical records sent prior to appointments confirmed they had received the records with his new specialists did not have them. I received an email that one of my sons appointments was cancelled and when I called they said it was still scheduled and they have no idea why I received the email. Half the staff works for Inova half work for Childrens National so only certain staff can help you and providers in the same office cant see the same records. Im trying to find providers elsewhere.

The doctor is great but Im seriously concerned about their lab and how they keep track of blood samples. Ive waited more than an hour to get my childs blood test done and instead of getting the result from them got a call saying the blood sample is missing after a week. They promised to get back with me regarding missing blood sample but still have not heard anything back. Im calling multiple times to the places and no one is answering. I hope my daughters blood sample is not mixed up with someone elses and the false result doesnt put anyone in their health risk.

Came 30 minutes early for my sons urology appointment for early paperwork or anything needed an appointment that is very hard to get and that you have to wait months and months to get an appointment for and the appointment time was 1115 its 1221 they want to charge patients for no show fees and stuff maybe patients should start charging them like come on An hour late and I got here really early. This is crazy. Doctors are great that I usually deal with but come on.

Wait times are horrible for the Orthopedics practice. Weve had to wait at least 30 mins to get brought back to a room and then an additional 15-30 mins before the doctor comes in. Its laughable that they have a 15 min grace period for late patients but then are an hour late to see their patients. The care itself is fine but felt like our doctor was in a huge rush for our appointments.

Avoid this place. Dr. Pole is not a good doctor he wasted a lot of our time and money. Hes incredibly incompetent and in addition he didnt review our babys test results before 2 appointments.. total waste of time. Dont go here if you care about your childs health.

I took my daughter to see a specialist for a back pain and there weve been seen by PA Meghan Hale who was very professional very informative and above all very friendly. She explained to us the entire treatment course including the MRI the PT and a potential worse case scenario too. I highly recommend her and commend her positive attitude

Great staff but very time consuming calls for scheduling followups and for the doctors to come in. I was a patient with Dr. Hanway and still remember seeing this other doctor who is a woman. They were both nice. Took many X rays over there for my legs. I hope they increased the waiting times for the appointments and calls now I missed this place so much especially Dr. Hanway except for the waiting times He procedurally my leg surgeries so well Ive heard he does them on his other patients too Praying for you and your family every day Dr. Hanway

Great place with very friendly staff. We never had to wait more than 15min. Our provider Eleanor Preta is wonderful I highly recommend this place

I just made a call to make an appt for my daughter unfortunately her Dr. Isnt with PSV anymore but well I asked the lady who I talked to over the phoneDo you know if shes with Children National now.Because some of the specialists moved with CHILDRENS nowThe lady said with a horrible attitude I dont know that Is something that I do not know I dont know where shes at I do not knowSo I saidOk thats fine thank you so much for your help.This is the way she answered-ok Your welcome your welcome your welcome your welcome and kept on on saying like 20 timesWith her attitude and the way she talked is what disappointed me. Honestly iI dont know why is that shes working as a receptionist if the way they going to answer because they cant handle a couple of questions.I would understand and wouldnt be writing this review if I would had been rude with her butNOPE that was NOT the case.I had talk to someone else before her and honestly they were so polite and answered all my questions. And they help me and gave me the phone number for the clinic where their specialists moved to.

Low wait time free parking - Dr. Salina Khushal was nothing short of the best Doctor we have ever interacted with. She took time to listen to all of our concerns and even looked further into blood work that the pediatrician deemed normal for abnormal markers. I was reminded how important it is to see a specialist in the field. Ive got no doubt that after months of waiting my son is headed in the right direction. The nurses office staff and everyone we interacted with was very nice I was very impressed - just going to add about the phone calls and scheduling just stay on top of it its no skin off my back to make a couple of extra phone calls for my sons health they are busy helping all the babies since there arent many specialists in the area for kids. Worth the wait in my opinion
