Claire is the best She is attentive and understanding of your situations and needs. She is professional and answered all my questions and concerns. My daughter started her speech therapy journey around February 2022 and she just recently graduated from her therapy. Claires team helped her tremendously. They were patient engaging and my daughter felt comfortable with them. My younger son will probably needs help with his speech and I would not hesitate to come back to Pediatric Language Therapy Associates. Thank you to Claire and your team

Play Pals was my sons first school campprogram experience over summer 2022. What really stood out to me as a parent when selecting a program was Play Pals inclusivity for children with communication challenges. The communication with the camps founder director and camp councilors has been nothing short of consistent and effective. No question goes unanswered and the door for communication is always open. If I have a need to check on my sons progress throughout the day the team is always very responsive. Aside from the incredibly supportive staff my son truly loves the friendships he has established at camp including his connections developed with the staff. He is always excited and ready for a new day and as a mother I feel safe leaving my son in the care of this amazing team. Prior to Play Pals my son was receiving speech therapy through his primary care provider. Now he is able to get the therapy he needs within the same consistent environment with familiar faces. I am incredibly excited I have chosen to move forward with my sons enrollment in the Fall Camp 2022 offered and look forward to seeing this amazing program develop even further over the next year.

5 stars all around Im so glad I just called to inquire about services because honestly my sons speech went from nothing to whole phrases in a little less than a year of coming here. They are understanding helpful and very welcoming. My son loved going and he knew the routine of learning through play very well here. Definitely also helped me understand how to encourage and support his development Thank you to the entire team at PLTA

Ive been extremely impressed with Claire and the sessions my son has had with her in the last 5 months. We have seen a lot of progress in my sons speech. We meet with Claire once a week and not only has Claire helped my son but she has given me the tools I need to reinforce his lessons. Claire emphasizes that the 30 min sessions are just a tiny portion of a childs week and a childs overall success with speech therapy relies much on a parents willingness to continue the therapy at home. My son adores Claire and asks to see her each week. She creates fun games and lessons and my son doesnt realize hes learning. Our sessions are on time the facility is clean and organized. Her schedule as always been flexible to meet our needs. I highly recommend Claire and her staff.

My 2 year old son was referred to Claire and her team by our pediatrician to address a speech delay. Claire quickly assessed his abilities and began a mix of group and 11 sessions. We found both to be very effective and noticed improvement in his speech within a few weeks. Claire also gave us activities to do at home to really help him progress. When he started he had about 6-10 words. Hes about 2 and a half now and has over a hundred words that he uses regularly. I strongly recommend

My son attended Play Pals at Pediatric Language Therapy for about a year. The staff were always kind knowledgeable and willing to work with us and my son. During his year there he really blossomed. He went from having great difficulty transitioning to smoothly following the class routine. He participated in the songs and group time and improved his communication skills with peers. My husband and I are so grateful we found Pediatric Language Therapy and believe it really helped my son transition to the public schools.

I cant say enough about Ms. Claire and her staff. We have been seeing her on a weekly basis for about 6 months in total. Her facility is clean and organized. Covid procedures are followed. She has a gentle caring fun and firm approach in her sessions. My son tries to lead the sessions and Ms. Claire controls him in a fun way to which he happily agrees with her requests. Im also impressed with how well Ms. Claire is able to demonstrate and create analogies so that my son understands what he is supposed to do. Almost all our sessions have been on time. She was late once in 6 months and she gave us a heads up text on that day stating she was running behind. And best of all my son has made progress with his pronunciation since seeing Ms. Claire. When Ms. Claire wanted us to take a short break in our sessions my son kept telling me he missed Ms. Claire and wanted to go see her again. Hes clearly a fan too.

We are so grateful for Pediatric Language Therapy Associates Our autistic 2 year old son is currently non verbal and started working with Claire and her team about 3 months ago 1x a week. Claire was able to set expectations and make strides with him week over week. Claire has been an absolute wonderful person to work with you can tell how much she genuinely cares about the kiddos she works with. She is reliable organized communicates quickly and thoroughly. The facility is clean and set up optimally especially for a child like mine who can get over stimulated easily. Im so thankful for the work PLTA has done for us and appreciate them celebrating all of the wins we have seen week over week.

Id like to share my familys interactions with Claire so other parents newly navigating the world of speech therapy may learn from our experiences.Lack of organization After 5 months and only 5 sessions Claire referred me to Regional Center Early Start. Regional Center asked that I have any previous speech therapy records forwarded for their assessment. Claire failed to forward my records on three separate occasions. On the last request she responded via text The report I have was from our first meeting so Im not sure if its even relevant now. Do they still want it Seems like they should do their own to get her current levels. As a health care provider myself if I refer a patient to another provider I would forward any assessments and notes that I take after each visit.Infrequent sessions Regional Center was alarmed at the infrequency of my sessions 1xmonth. When I inquired about this Claire reassured me that our sessions were sufficient but still recommended that I become a squeaky wheel to Regional Center to ensure I get their resources as a supplemental tool which are weekly sessions. If this is recommended why wait 5 months to tell me thisLack of clear instruction Claire suggested that my nanny and I attend an in-person session to teach us techniques on how to help my daughter. My nanny attended on her day off my husband took time off and the three of us attended an in-person session. During this session we did not receive any instruction. Rather Claire recommended that we enroll my daughter in part-time day care and really push for Regional Center resources. When I asked Claire why we didnt learn anything in that session she responded The further strategies and guidance were intended to be conveyed in the class. This class she is referring to is a 70month 1xweek playgroup class that is not covered by insurance. Im unclear as to why a 11 session would not be an optimal time to cover some techniques especially since that was the intention of the session. My interactions with Claire have made me question her priorities and organization and I hope others can learn from our experiences. Bottom line I wish I had sought Regional Center 5 months ago instead of believing I was doing adequate speech therapy for my daughter.

In the short time my daughter has been attending Play Pals group speech therapy and 11 speech therapy with Claire and Haley she has already shown so much improvement. Play Pals is so valuable to us as it provides an opportunity learn in a group setting as well as provide tools and ideas we can take home to practice. Claire and Haley are patient and encouraging and provide a wealth of knowledge during each visit. We only wished we had called sooner
