I felt very comfortable with the staff and the nurse practitioner cared about my sons wellbeing. It was a quick visit but not rushed. Everything was done to make sure my son was in good health or to make sure he would be if needed. We are waiting on results from the lab and I feel that he is in good hands and will be taken care of promptly and properly.

Dr. Sabia is great. Makes you feel like youre in good hands but the customer service skills of the non-medical front office staff is trash . Inquiries over the phone dont result in you getting any help at all. Theyre down right rude

Front desk staff are just rude . They do not have any compassion Dr. Miranda is horrible . I asked Dr. Miranda if she can write a letter since she requested to put my child on a special diet . Then she said no as in it is not needed. She should have just said she doesnt want too. After my child was seen then I notified the front desk staff immediately that my son was having the same pain. Also ask a medication was sent . They told me that I have to make another appointment. I truly miss original doctors because they were compassionate and sweet. Im accustomed to Wildcat Terry Celia Williams and Karen

My daughter needed medical forms filled out for The Special Olympics I dropped off paperwork at 8am on a Wednesday begging for them to be completed for the next day admitted it was my bad for forgetting the deadline and was informed paperwork has a 48 hour processing policy. The doctor wasnt even in until Friday and even though my daughter has seen another doctor since her physical it had to be the doctor that completed the physical. Which would have taken to the 48 hour Friday. I was given an extension to hand them in by the coach. On Friday I called as well as stopped in just before close and paperwork passed the 48 hour deadline was still not signed. We then stopped in on Sat and it STILL wasnt signed the front desk gal was AMAZING and personally handled it and got them signed. In other-words if you need paperwork dont believe their 48 hour deadline. Otherwise their facility is very nice staff however the waits once you get in a room sometimes exceed 45-60 mins so be ready to wait forever n a confined room.

We have been taking our son here since he was about 2 months old he is five now. We love all the doctors and PAs. They always take their time and are patient with him.We have Tricare as a secondary insurance and if anyone has ever dealt with them they know what a nightmare Tricare is. We had a major emergency situation with a cardiology authorization with Tricare and the folks at the contact center were amazing in helping us deal with Tricare. Specifically Diana L. who sat there with me on the conference line with Tricare who had decided five years into the patience establishment with this office and his doctors that he needed a different PCM and then failed to notify us so all the urgent authorization for a cardiology appointment nonetheless requests were getting lost in no-mans land. It was only with Dianas help that after talking to three people in Tricare we were able to reinstate his a doctor at Pediatric Associates as his PCM and she personally made sure the authorization was submitted exactly as the Tricare folks wanted it. I am hoping that for once Tricare came through at least they are secondary insurance but either way Diana was so patient and even more important she was empathetic to my meltdown as a mother. Thank you Diana this bureaucratic world of medical insurance needs more knowledgeable people like you to help parents like me to navigate it and get the care we need for our babies.

The first doctor we met at the Bloomingdale location was outstanding. He was kind thorough and professional. I felt very comfortable with him. As to our 2nd visit that doctor was also great. I was pleased with the care my daughter received on both visits.

My daughter is 19 and doing things herself. She needed some forms filled out for her nursing program. Both Riverview and Bloomingdale location told her that her paperwork was ready. This is now the second time the paperwork was not ready and needed the doctor signature which she told them it was needed. Now she has to wait until next Tuesday. This is not acceptable. Never had problems with your facilities before and I am happy to say after this paperwork is finalized I will not have her go back to Pediatric Associates. We will look elsewhere for high quality and caring health facility. I will not recommend anyone either.

It was absolutely amazing. I have both my children here at pediatric associates and Im grateful for their care and support with my children. Initially we had our appointment for a flu vaccine only but thankfully Dr. Kober was able to fully examine my son and let me know what he needed other than just giving him a vaccine. Im forever thankful and grateful for everything this office has done for my kids.

Had a virtual visit that no one never showed up for. Waited for 1 hr before hanging up. No one never checked in and apologized for the inconvenience or nothing. Wasted time spent waiting and lack of communication. But as soon as I received a text message from someone I needed to reply to what do you know here comes a message in the chat advising me to stay active not answer any calls or text messages and not to toggle between apps. But the nerve to not show up to an appointment that was scheduled prior is beyond me. These doctors offices have to be held accountable in some form of fashion. But let you show up 15 min to an appointment theyre rescheduling. A little upset of time time wasted which cause me to cancel my prior obligations.

At our visits for my children I had no problem with Dr. Baldwin. We went for completely healthy child visits. Dr. Baldwin asked if she could do bloodwork on my 15 year old daughter. I told her if it was the normal lipid panel they would do on her age. I told her I didnt want any extra test run because we have terrible insurance. She did a vit D3 test. After speaking to other doctors and my insurance there is no reason to do a vit. D test on a completely healthy 15 year old. Now I am getting a bill from quest for 242 for a test I did not approve. This test would have been 23 if I walked in off the street with no insurance but because I have insurance that denied it I am supposed to pay 242. I have called quest and pediatric assoc over and over. They supposedly refiled it with a new code but it was still not covered. Now I have just been trying to understand why this test was even given but no one can answer. I will not return just because of how hard it has been to get help at the office. Im certain anyone in this office would feel the same if this was there child and were needing to pay for an unnecessary test that They did not approve. I have been so polite every time I have called and they say... theres nothing we can do. I just want to understand and maybe be charged as a cash patient for this test atleast. But no one will help.

Being from out of state we seriously considered flying back home just for medical appointments because lets be honest Florida doesnt have the best reputation for healthcare. That being said we have been very blessed to find the doctors we chose. Pediatric Associates is a great office. There is more than one doctor there so you can always see someone without having to wait for one doctor like at most offices at least that is how it is where we are from.Weve met a few of the doctors in rotation but when we met Dr. Terry Kober it was a match made in heaven. Hes seriously amazing. He has a similar health perspective to our lifestyle which is a first for us but its nice to connect on that level. Weve been scheduling with him since we moved here three years ago.Now as others have mentioned the waiting room can be obnoxiously long. For example today we had a 10am appointment but we werent seen until 1120am and left the office around 1135am. The wait is definitely worth it but that doesnt excuse how ridiculous it is. Would I stop coming here because it throws a major wrench in my schedule Absolutely not.For the most part the office is very kind. I have had two occasions that made me extremely upset. Basically we were incorrectly scheduled for two appointments and the appointment was changed but we werent notified of the change until the day of. We wouldve had to pay out of pocket since our insurance thought we already had the appointment and we needed the appointment by a certain date because it was required for our oldest to continue in school vaccine proof etc. The fix was made but I was definitely not a happy camper.Besides the mishap mentioned earlier and the sometimes long waits this office is beautiful clean conveniently located and very kid-friendly. Very very grateful that we were able to find it. Its also in one of my favorite shopping strips with very unique restaurants in walking distance.
