So I have a lot to say but have decided to keep it semi short and sweet and of course straight to the pointMy 12 yo has been going through a lot- mental health-wise the past year. Things got A LOT worse right before Halloween when things turned from moderate to straight crisis mode. Ill spare the details but I want to specifically give shoutouts to a few of the staff Ive had on my team assisting me with the needs for my daughter. First Mariah Hatch- shes been consistently there for my kiddo and has done a wonderful job at being kind supportive and understanding for her. Secondly I want to thank Kim Caceres one of the case workers who stepped in when things turned real sour and yet has been very communicative and extremely kind professional and has been available to my daughter and I whenever Ive needed her. Third a shoutout to Casey Adams- one of the BH techs whom my daughter has really warmed up to she is very energetic and patient and has even made my life easier by coming for home visits to spend time with my daughter while we transition her back into a more stable state of mind. Lastly I want to recognize Kyna Ambrose- one of the nurses on standby in the background she has been there in the event a medical or pharmaceutical intervention is needed. She has been very understanding that Im wanting to do a more holistic approach with my kiddo so I can appreciate she is not pushy with meds and respects my wishes as far as how Id like to handle this more naturally with only the aid of supplements for now.I know this facility hasnt the best reviews from the past but my experience has been very satisfactory and I appreciate all the staff and receptionists being so helpful and kind and ensuring my daughter continues getting the mental health care she has needed.Thank you Pathways for helping my daughter its making all the difference and she wouldnt be doing so well if it werent for all the wonderful staff who truly care to help the people like her who need it most.

Horrible service For someone who is treating people with mental health conditions they are terrible. They arent responsive to phone calls its IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of your Dr. and they never have the same response when dealing with one person to the next. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend them to anyone. Reason being people deserve to receive good service especially those in a fragile state with mental health issues and I can guarantee if youre being treated at Pathways you will receive less than par in the help you receive.

Please dont go here I had an issue with my daughters therapist and spoke to the supervisor Sherri Broughton who did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem. My daughter has unfortunately experienced a great deal of trauma in her life and when my husband and I adopted her we knew that she would have to have some pretty intensive therapy to help her cope. Much to our disappointment none of the therapists here are trauma certified and do not have the skills and expertise needed. Ms. Broughton tried to brush it off like it was no big deal. She has no business whatsoever being in the behavioral health field. My husband and I will be filing a grievance with the state of Arizona as well as the AZ Board of Licensure due to her unethical practice.

TERRIBLE place I have been through several Psychiatrists at both locations within the past 6 months because they cant keep employees. One I had scheduled an appointment with and the day of my appointment I called to confirm my appointment just a feeling and I was told my appointment was cancelled because the Psychiatrist I had my appointment with didnt last long. At that point I had to reschedule with another person that was completing their training whatever that means and that was 2 months out. When I finally met with her shes a total joke and has a well just go with it whatever attitude. I told her TWICE the prior medications I had been on and the ones that DID NOT work for me or had terrible side effects and she still prescribed TWO of them. One of the medications that DID work for me previously she would not prescribe. If she read my previous history she would have seen that I actually did great with it. They clearly dont read up on prior notes and it shows with the services they provide They are extremely short staffed their caseloads are outrageous and it clearly shows in how they run people in and out of there like cattle. Im in the process of looking for a new place that actually cares and takes the time to get to know their patients. They are suppose to be helping individuals with mental health issues NOT causing more anxiety and stress. DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER LOCATION.

Exceptional mental health care pertinent knowledge of other supportive programs. If you have a teenager I would strongly recommend their therapists case managers and psychiatrists. The staff is all about the client and will advocate tirelessly to actively improve their clients lives.

Impossible to get an appointment or get in touch with anyone.Their phones are always having problems or they overbook appointments and then cancel on you so have to wait another month or longer to actually speak with someone.High turnover rate for both Nurse Practitioners and Therapists which can really mess things up.The refill line for medications sometimes works but sometimes you might have to go without important medication for a whole month.

Pathways has one psychiatrist to see in person one student doctor online psychiatrist in Phoenix who apparently does a psych evaluation in less than 30-minutes on a iPad in the office and nurses to offer children and families in need. Their only job is to diagnose and give drugs. Their non doctor staff lack experience and training and overall have very little to offer. They can direct you to other professionals around town who do what they lack. They dont take private insurance or self pay. Their staff put an entire group of special needs students in danger during their winter camp and the staff didnt have the most basic knowledgetraining especially when their attempt to take them to get cheap hot dogs for lunch at Costco. Imagine a van full of special need kids in a Costco parking lot trying to go inside for cheap hotdogs.A huge fail and liability Theyve also called children protective servicesretaliation and made bogus claims after parents were questioning their inability to provide appropriate basic services for their children. I do not recommend anyone bring their children here.

SPEECHLESS I called to make an appointment for my mom who is 71 was told they dont see patients over the age of 65 They also didnt have any available counselors that accepted Medicare or AHCCCS although they are on the provider list. Tucson is full of seniors and they wont see patients over 65 This should tell you what kind of place it is and how serious they take their patients. I would give less than 1 star if possible.

Terrible service. My daughter went there a year ago and the psycitrist didnt do anything didnt talk didnt give advice didnt evaluate my daughter or anything. Started seeing a councilor through her head start and she gave her a diagnoised. I needed further evaluation so I went back and they said that the diagnoses the councilor gave me is wrong and there is nothing wrong with my daughter. How can you say there is nothing wrong without evaluating her Her head start teachers were very concerned about her behavior and licenced doctors arent How am I suppose to get the help I need for my daughter if no one will help me This is not the place to go if your searching for help.

If you love your child or family member keep them the hell out of Pathways of Arizona All they ever did for our autistic son was keep him drugged up on dangerously high levels of hardcore pharmaceutical drugs. There was never ever any improvement in our childs quality of life never anything natural or holistic introduced never any new science or approaches it was just year after year of drug management. They have horrible crisis response protocols and time response they dont stick up for their clients when legal matters arise absolutely terrible experience All they want to do is make money by putting your kids on drugs In hindsight they held our child back from making any progress at all for YEARS The prescribed meds at such high levels and for such lengths of time that local pharmacists were alarmed Senior staff members wouldnt return calls or emails the whole agency reeks of negligence and incompetence GO TO ANOTHER HEALTH SERVICES FACILITY SPARE YOURSELF THE MISERY THEY ARE DRUG DEALERS NOT CHILD REHABILITATORS
