An incredible organization and the experience the day we attended left us all feeling a sense of calm. Employees and volunteers were warm and welcoming throughout our visit.

Original. March 2022My 1st day - Just an evaluation for me so far but in depth and I felt GOOD - I did get to meet my horse and groom brush it. Next time Ill ride. This place seems highly professional. Riders from under2 years old to 90. Emotional therapy to physical and occupational and of courseRiding. Im excited 4 months in. July 5th 2022Its been great. Ive got 30 minute riding sessions but there are many other levels of therapeutic services. Not everyone rides. Some just get a lot from being near a horse. My riding so far has been a painfully cautiously slow progression. I still need plenty of help getting on and getting off but they are there for me. They started me out being led by my therapist and two other aides. Then I rode and controlled the horse but still with a tether. Finally Im riding without anyone holding a tether to the horse. Im doing obstacle courses and my therapist is watching and verifying my balance and my control. Im still at a walk no trotting cantering etc but we are making progress. Yes its frustratingly slow but I recognize and respect their concern for safety.Ill still recommend Pal-O-Mine to anyone. Feel free to ask for my name as a referral if you call them and Ill share more.

It was such an amazing experience. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Lisa and United Ways thank you for making this weekend possible. Its something I will never forget. The horticulture class is relaxing and so hands-on. It was a perfect experience. Yoga and Reiki were my first time and it was such a spiritual experience. Jennys writing workshop was my first and I loved it so much. I learned a lot. Thank you all for this perfect time with all of you. As a woman veteran thank you for helping me find myself. There are so many workshops and things to do here that it was eye-opening.

This was one of the best experiences I had. I went there for a leadership course and I gained a great deal of insights into myself and my team. I cant say enough about the good work they do for the community.

Had amazing day at the Open House of Pal-O-Mine Loved spending the day with Cindy Lisa Ellen and Kim and making new friends. The new playground funded by the Andy Foundation and Junior League of Long Island as well as other donors is such an awesome space for everyone visiting and receiving therapy and help at Pal-O-Mine.

I had my training classes to be a volunteer. I truly enjoy the atmosphere of Pal O Mine. I have groomed the minis and helped as a sidewalker. Every person I have met has welcomed to and always has made me feel valued. So happy for what Pal O Mine has added to my life. And that I am working and volunteering with wonderful people. I always say Make a different make a memory make a friend Thats what Ive done. Thank you Pal O Mine
