Pediatric Behavior Therapy (aka-ABA) has been around for more than 35 years. It is a scientific treatment endorsed by the Surgeon General, the National Institutes of Health, the Association for Science in Autism Research, and many others for its effectiveness. A strong program focuses on utilizing positive interventions to benefit the client. Continuous evaluation of each program, as well as implementation by a skilled professional, are fundamental components.

Even if a provider offers parent training, it may look different from one provider to another. For example, an in-home provider might conduct a parent training session directly following a therapy session with your child to help explain what they’ve been working on with your child.
