I always get super mixed answers every time I call. Sometimes theyre helpful sometimes theyre not. Today the lady I was speaking to on the phone was incredibly rude out of nowhere I was appalled and frankly quite shocked at what was said to me that I hung up as she didnt seem to be interested in discussing alternatives or what could be done regarding an insurance requirement. Ive been trying to get a test for over 6 years now

Ive been a patient for a long time due to my epilepsy the only problem I had was one time talking over the phone with one of the on call employees seriously all I wanted was to notify my neurologist about a small change not that hard to understand. other than that incident they have helped me quickly and efficiently called them today about a letter I received and they told me they are already working on it.

My wife has been a patient at Oregon Neurology for over 7 years seeking treatment for chronic migraines. Despite initial challenges in obtaining approval for treatment her migraines significantly improved with their care. However the experience has been marred by financial issues.Oregon Neurology requires a 250 deposit before allowing appointment bookings for migraine treatments later applied to future payments. Despite having private insurance their billing department struggles with the deposit system and billing major insurance companies. Between 2021 and 2022 they retained over 730 of our deposit instead of using it to offset post-insurance balances.Rather than addressing outstanding amounts after insurance the clinic insisted on additional fees both before and after treatments. Attempts to obtain a clear bill were met with resistance requiring us to request a refund of the 730 they retained. The lack of transparency in billing practices is evident with demands for payment made via phone calls two days before appointments without providing detailed invoices. Over the last three visits we paid over 360 per visit without receiving written documentation or explanations for the charges.Despite expressing concerns to the treating doctor and seeking a referral to another provider Oregon Neurology referred my wife back to her primary care physician restarting the process of finding a new provider. This review aims to highlight Oregon Neurologys lack of transparency in billing and payment practices. Questioning their methods led to an unhelpful response leaving us without a clear path forward. If financial transparency in medical treatments is important to you it may be advisable to explore alternative healthcare providers.

I have been with OR Neurology since my diagnosis of M.S.in 1991. I have been treated with compassion dignity and respect I have also been referred to O.H.S.U. if needed and to participate in clinical trials. When my father needed a specialist for his Parkinsons Dr. Balm was AMAZING I am currently under the care of Dr. David Clark he is not only M.S. savy but I believe he honestly cares for my well being the entire staff work together for all of my needs...Thank you Deena Miller

Every single appointment Ive had here it takes over an hour to be seen from my original appointment time. They have a policy that if you are late for your appointment it is immediately cancelled and then have the audacity to make patients wait 60-90 minutes past their scheduled time. Definitely go somewhere else if you value your time.

Great help in problem solving my husbands very complex neurological problems and being proactive in ordering labs testing etc to diagnose his problems. She is personable as well. Only problem like all neurologists in town is she is busy- booked out 2-12 months for appts. Worth the wait though.Thank you Dr Hart.

This office had established a payment plan on a small medical debt and asked to increase payment amounts to 150 more than was established. I asked if it was possible to have a grace period to properly research a dispute and they said 30 days would be more than fine.I asked for an itemized and audited bill to assist with research and their tone changed immediately. They became very short brief and a complete opposite of their demeanor prior to the request. While waiting a week for them to send the documents they sent the bill to collections and refused to answer any question whatsoever regarding the account or audit process. This was less than 30 days after they had processed my last payment and zero correspondence was provided to indicate their intent to send to collections. On advice of the DOJ I have submitted a state complaint and posted this and other honest reviews of my experience so that others looking at this office will strongly consider looking elsewhere. You do have options for medical care even in Eugene and looking at the largely negative reviews and a consistent theme with this office I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for care as so much as questioning if insurance was billed correctly or requesting an itemized bill will likely be met with behavior that would present as retaliatory.Their poorly written responses throughout these reviews seem to indicate that there is very low effort in working with or providing positive resolutions to many of their patients.

Dr. Clark and his team at Oregon Neurology have been so helpful and kind every time I have an appointment. Scheduling is easy and the schedulers are always very nice. The medical assistants are always very patient and listen to my concerns. Dr. Clark has always been very kind and has a professional but approachable bedside manner. He has helped me with every concern and his team has always made me feel like a priority. I would highly recommend Dr. Clark to my friends and family.
