Unfortunately we havent had a positive experience. They dont return phone calls office staff acts put out when you request reports or documents to help get some reimbursement from your insurance and overall I dont feel they really care about the outcome of my childs experience. I feel they charge a very high dollar amount and dont provide high quality service. It is very frustrating to pay thousands of dollars and not be able to have my phone calls returned in a timely manner.

When I started with OCVT a year ago my vision was a mess.My eyes didnt work as a team which caused a lot of problems for me. The biggest was vertigo. Shopping made me dizzy. A flight of stairs seemed like a ride on some kind of tilt-a-whirl. Driving was exhausting. I got migraines frequently and my back muscles hurt all the time.I was born with strabismus so I knew these issues were caused by poor alignment of my eyes. I had this confirmed by Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. I was told that I was not a good candidate for surgery so I could either get prisms which Id tried or do vision therapy.After doing a ton of research and getting recommendations from local Optometrists I scheduled an appointment and consultation with Dr. Larson and OCVT. They were professional caring and patient so my decision was easy.After six weeks of working with OCVT I was able to go into a store without a massive attack of vertigo and the back pain and migraines disappearedIn the past year of therapy we have managed to make my eyes as a team most of the time. A bonus is that I can now see details I couldnt see before even with 2020 vision. My vision isnt where I want it to be yet. I still dont have full-time stereopsis but I was warned that it might take longer for me since I came in with a lot of issues.Doing this work has been one of the most rewarding things in my life. Engaging in a course of Vision Therapy as an adult isnt easy. Results require dedication persistence and a positive attitude. It is worth the effort.During the course of treatment my insurance company found new and interesting ways to tell me they would cover treatment then deny it. That part of the story is a cautionary one be sure you have everything in order on that end before you begin treatment unless you can afford to self-pay.My only regret is that I cant afford to continue treatment.

Ashley is knowledgeable passionate and inspiring - she was such an amazing help. Before speaking with her I felt scared and hopeless and after our conversation my hope is restored. Ive been working with OCVT for over two years now and my vision has improved so much. When I first started I had double vision all the time and couldnt drive. Now my vision is even better than it was prior to the issues I developed and Im so much better at focusing diverging and converging my vision. Definitely recommend for anyone having chronic vision issues

If you have a toddler who needs a regular eye check like annually this is go to place to do so. We have had three visits with west lake location and every-time we have been here this facility has gone above and beyond to cater my toddlers needs. During our visits the team make sure to keep babys attention to get her thorough inspection.

OCVT has positively changed my sons life in the short 5 weeks he been attending weekly therapy sessions with Brookeso sweet and really makes connection with her patients In Masons words Mom I am making progress. I can tell .. We Will forever be grateful for finding OCVT Also would like to mention the front desk staff as efficient polite and knowledgeable.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience with her therapist Samuel. He is engaging and kind. He has been very flexible meeting both virtually and in person over the last six months. My experience with both him and the larger team has also been excellent. They are very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping the patients.

Our daughter loves her therapist Samuel so she actually enjoys her therapy time. And her vision issues have improved quickly in 5 months. The staff is friendly too and its easy to book appointments. We highly recommend OCVT

OCVT was life changing for my kids especially my daughter whose vision was severely impacted with dysfunction. The staff at OCVT was a delight to work with and worth the two hour drive every week because the impact was so very substantial. We love OCVT They are the best

My husband is a patient here and everyone is so nice and understanding and helpful. My post does no justice of their kindness Truly one of the only people that understood my husband when we had gone to many doctors before gave us a timeline and were truly very flexible with us Even during COVID they worked with us and last minute appointments the communication was excellent.
