Ojai Recreation Department

The social skills class offered at Ojai Recreation Department focuses on daily living skills, crafts, field trips, and making new friends. Youth from first grade through high school are given the tools to work cooperatively and know the appropriate behavior in various social situations. Social situations are created and students are taken on field trips to help provide them with practice in the real world. The class is;geared primarily toward non-typically developing peers, but is open to all participants. Some parent involvement may be requested depending upon the needs of the child. Seasonally, there may be other classes offered throughout the year. You may like to refer to the Activity Guide online.
