Ill just say that therapy isnt an exact scienceamongst other things and everyone is human. Ive had mostly good experiences in the nearly 5 years Ive attended this location for services. When it wasnt great the reasoning varied.Im pretty picky but almost everyone I interacted with was at least pretty good or better. So you very well may find a good fit here.My only real issue with Nystrom and associates is the big box mentality that seems to come from certain individuals in the office. It also makes it so they want to come up with more things to diagnose and treat to keep yodel services and keep the flow going. Not really professional in the objective sense.Any other issues were petty from my point of view and wouldnt be considered important if people werent so intense.If you need services I recommend giving this one a shot. Its not bad at all. I gave 3 stars before but they were dissatisfied with that and thought I was with them. Not true. 3.5 makes sense.

Ive been a patient for about 2 years now and I have never had so much progress with any other mental help provider. Sarah B. Is amazing. Her EMDR. Her bed side manner. Her delivery and overall approach to mental help is absolutely refreshing. She has helped me process so many child hood and early adulthood traumas and find healing in the experience. Hands downthey are awesome

Life happens and its nice to be able to talk with someone about it. Appointments by Telehealth video are really convenient yet you can also go in person. Either way the staff is super helpful. My counselordoctor at Nystrom has worked out well for me supportive kind professional- highly recommend

I have 76 weeks of positive experiences with Nystrom Associates. Each visit has given me life lessons learned and made me a better person. The time invested is well worth it from treatment 30 weeks to mental therapy 10 weeks and the 52 week DBT SKILLS TRAINING the penultimate jewel in the crown.Robert Christensen.

This review is for the Eden Prairie location of Nystrom Associates. My therapist went above and beyond in supporting me in areas where my ARMHS workers could and would not. When I was being bullied with false accusations my therapist with whom I had a prior years worth of sessions would defend me and my character. Its sad when a therapist who sits in their office can provide more support and do more for their client than the ARMHS workers who ostensibly provides hands-on support. I was told by an ARMHS supervisor that my ARMHS workers could not testify on my behalf in any legal settings which meant that my assigned ARMHS workers were okay with me being abused bullied stolen from falsely accused and illegally evicted without having to notify the authorities. The ARMHS program is worse than useless for those who are experiencing extreme circumstances and their lack of concern for my issues has resulted in an irrecoverable loss of trust in the service. I absolutely can not recommend the ARMHS program. However my therapists bedside manner is astounding and they deserve more PTO and a raise due to their passion and dedication to their clients mental health.

It was difficult to get an appointment in person with someone at any of the branches near me and as I result I opted for telehealth. That has its advantages Ive found the experience to be convenient and straightforward and the therapist Ive been working with is helpful.

As a 60 year old having tried therapy several times with different providers my experience with Nystrom has been the most beneficial for me. I have established a comfortable and helpful relationship with my therapist which has lasted over 6 years. I highly recommend Nystrom and Associates to others looking for guidance and support for personal and substance abuseaddiction concerns.

I dont get the negative reviews. I know that we ALL have our own experiences but as far as scheduling please show me a provider today in ANY field and mental health is SEVERELY overtaxed who can get a patient in whenever the patient wants. Also and I have had and understand this in the past getting the answers we want to hear is not always healthy for us we sometimes need to hear the answers we dont want to hear. This location has been GREAT about listening to me and documenting my concerns in such a manner that it has been really helpful in getting me the documentation for my VA compensation claim.
