Nystrom & Associates - Duluth Clinic

Let me tell you of the horrible experiences Ive had with this company. To start off my provider decided one time it was okay for him to join our meeting an hour late or nearly so. Then he decided to gaslight me saying over and over when he saw how aggravated I was it was the only way. I find that absolutely abtrosous and unprofessional of a doctor to do. I have a diagnosed problems. Why was this allowed to happen Same doctor recently decided he did not have to fax my prescription in. Just wrote it on my chart and did NO FOLLOW-UP. Again I am the one with a disease. Why does it seem like I am more competentThen there is the nursing line. When they tell you they will give you a call back they are 100 lying. I constantly run into this problem and have been since January when I became a patient. I have some time sensitive issues and not calling back only makes them worse.I also have the same problem with the nurse managers. Was supposed to get a call back today to make sure I got my meds. I got absolutely NO CALL. Spoke to her today she said I said someone would call you next week. She did NOT say that. She told me she would have someone call me in FIVE days. I also wanted a follow up on why my doctor decided to NOT fax in my prescription. She did not record anything pertaining to a follow up. I am also experiencing problems with zoom. I asked for someone to call me about that as well. Again five days later not a single word has even been whispered to me.I can honestly say that Nystrom and Associates have made my disease FAR WORSE then when I first came here.TlDr Dont bother with this company. Doctors will gas light you the nurses wont call back and the managers dont care enough about you for follow-ups. They only want your money.

I was very satisfied with overall treatment program outstanding very knowledgeable counselor Karen kucera out of Duluth office I am ready to start a fresh start with the knowledge and tools I learned by Karen to maintain my sobriety and new look on life b thank you Karen also nystrom and associates was sad and happy to end my treatment program. Five start rating thanks again

I have found all the people at Nystrom Associates to be very friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed working with Coleen Christensen. She has been wonderful to work with. She persisted even when I was in a very difficult place in my life I have benefited from her experience and wisdom. I would highly recommend Nystrom Associates to anyone looking for help in their personal life

The only thing I liked about this place was the 2 therapists I had when I was there. That and the receptionists were kind and helpful. My psychiatry NP Theresa Carr was dismissive of my concerns that one of my medications was exacerbating my anxiety and panic attacks. I was not comfortable advocating for myself with her and her dismissive attitude made that even harder. At one point it was so bad my boss had to take me to the ER because I had a severe panic attack at work. Theresa did not seem very concerned about this. I ended up going to my General Provider to get titrated off the medication and my anxiety and panic attacks were significantly reduced a month after fully stopping the medication. Nystrom is also a Christian company and has practices that reflect that. They do not tell you this upfront which is disingenuous. To top it off they only do 15 minute psychiatry appointments. That is not long enough to make decisions about medication changes. I was able to get 30 minute appointments at a different clinic on the same health insurance so it is not an issue of insurance not paying for 30 minute appointments. They just make more money doing 15 minute appointments. The only reason that I kept going to this place was because I liked my therapist so much.

Oh yes what did the delightful experience They know all the answers and really help me understand how to apply them. I enjoy my visits and look forward to them. The doctors here at Nystroms are much more involved and professional than the ones at a normal clinic type of hospital. They actually care about your well being

My provider Kathryn Vele is amazing Shes clearly very well versed in what she does and not only focuses on speaking about my medication but also talks with me about my day-to-day life. Shes so positive and is always a joy to see.Nystrom as a whole is also very well run whenever I need to call and speak with a nurse regarding scheduling an appointment they are kind and prompt

My practitioner at Nystrom is the best She listens to and hears me. She works with me to find the right combination of medicines that help me specifically.I can honestly say that because of her I have hope.

If I could give zero stars I would. I amwell versed in the therapy world. My experience with Nystrom was unacceptable. No communication between my counselor and the support staff. My counselor did not contact my required contacts even though they tried to contact her. Based on a snapshot my counselor recommended treatment. My contacts were my best friend and psychologist of three years. I left 6 voicemails over a month directly to my counselors voicemail and contacted Nystrom to let my counselor know to contact me twice before she did. Unprofessional. Would not recommend.

The staff nurses and primary care I have had oversee and work with me have been understanding and accommodating to my needs and scheduling . I have been very satisfied and grateful for the quality of care Ive received. In my 5years with Nydstromand Associates . I look forward to working with them in the future to assist me in maintaining my quality of life I have achieved with their help..
