Every employee was very polite and communicated well. Very good and professional place to help with individual needs.

Awful Experience. I made 3 appoints 2 were canceled and one was rescheduled for over the phone later the same day. Im looking at what is in network for my insurance I will go here again. I realize I visited this company 20 years and got health care so bad that I refused help for the rest of my life. Go somewhere else.

We used Steven Smith at the Nystrom Associates in BaxterBrainerd for weekly virtual Family Therapy but only for a few months. Steven was very unprofessional inconsistent and liked to change things just as our 7 am session would start. I spoke to him amount my concerns two seperate times in the past. Each time Steven would always apologize and reassure me that things would improve but they never did. In fact in the end Steven became unresponsive after asking him multiple times to speak with his manager. So we were forced to find a new Family Therapist. I strongly do not recommend useing Steven Smith for therapy. Nystrom Asso. has so many other responsive therapists to work with instead.Also Steven never created goals or had us work towards anything. We only talked about whatever came to our mind.There were a few sessions that if my daughters were not able to think of things to talk about from 7 am - 8am Steven would end the session up to 30 minutes early. Please understand that Hennepin County CPS removed my daughters from my ex and her husband due to many types of abuse including sexual. My point is there is a lot to work on and there was no reason for Steven to cut so many of our sessions short.We still like Nystrom Associates. My daughters still see their individual therapists at the Bloomington Office.

Ive been a victim of people in the medical field treating me wrong and very bad so I was very skeptical but my experience here and especially with the ARHMS program has been very positive and hopefully enlightening to all concerned. Thank you.

If you need actual mental health help DO NOT GO HERE I had 2 different therapist that called in every other session. I call to schedule an appointment and without a doubt I always get someone who has an attitude or is just rude. If youre new or want to see someone new its going to be a good 2 months at that. I have bad anxiety and I couldnt get my self to show up to an appointment and now Im not allowed to schedule Everybody that I have seen hasnt even acted like they cared. Dealing with nystroms is such a big headache and honestly so draining. If youre looking for actual help please please dont go here.

Just started therapy hereLooking forward to building a relationship with my therapist and continuing my mental health journeyOnly downside is app for the telehealthDue to location Im not able to do in person right now and with the appLife-size it was not the easiest to find a device I could use other than my phone would much rather have a bigger screen to do my visit on and then the connectionPrevious therapist Ive had use the zoom or Google meets and those work way betterBut the therapist seems wonderful and the place themselves nystrom associates seems to be a great place to get started and find the right care

Everyone I have worked with has been wonderful Whether through a teleconference or in person they have been understanding insightful supportive and helpful I value their suggestions and ideas and appreciate their nonjudgmental responses and active listening.

I think my provider Dr. Susan Sawyer DeMaris is a excellent person she is a well listener and she makes sure that l am feeling ok and if not she is not afraid to change my medication to help me achieve my goals of being a evenly balanced person. Thank you for the mental help. Jackie

I have been with the same doctor for my meds for at least eight years and he is amazing. They have Zoom or something like that and since he is in another town Ive never seen him in person - even when I went to the office. Its so much easier nowThe staff on the phone and in the office are incredible. They answer when you ask a question if they know it and they do all they can to answer the question. They are also really efficient. They have the questionnaires all ready on one of those with a clip. The wait times have pretty much always been on time. If theres an answer they say something extremely vague as to not break HIPPA but enough to know you are not forgotten.1010 would definitely recommend for all mental health needs. They also have other programs to help in real life. They have an AHRMS workers people trained to match you with a job. So many programs

Good luck getting meds filled if you forget to schedule with your provider before you run out. Called Tuesday after realizing my mistake to fill the gap between running out and my appointment. Was sent to voicemail immediately even though it was before 430pm. No return call the next day or day after that. Friday called and an urgent message was sent to get the med filled but again no response and now I go without it. All I got was a lecture on not remembering to schedule the appointment. My bad. They are every 3 months. I thought it was next month. Didnt realize I was out of meds. Still dont mean I need my life fed up for a minimum of 3 days as punishment. Had they returned the call in a timely manner it would have been handled this week but nope. They dont actually return calls.
