Left a voicemail for Amy twice asking questions about a medication since the nurse at the Grayling location was on vacation. Never recieved a call back. Ive been going to the grayling location for 5 years even though HL is closer to home. I started going there after I was treated terribly by the therapist I was seeing. Filed a complaint on her it was so bad. Grayling has been amazing. They seem to actually care about their patients.

Absolutely disappointed in this facility. Wouldnt never Recommend Sad its the only facility in county. Some Workers have lack of empathy and the turnover of workers is terrible. . They failed my son. Only after he took his precious life 2 years ago is when I found out he was not given services he was entitled to. He was just a number. Im so angry and Im heartbroken forever

They only deal with people with major mental health problems but only give one appointment a month and they will miss telephone appointments. There is only one therapist who is retired at the facility.

Its hard to give an honest review of this center simply because it is the only center available in the area. And in terms of mental health asking for help is better than not. But NLCMH has extremely limited options. They have very few group therapy choices. They have ONE therapist on staff. They have two psychiatrists but most of your appointments will be over video-conferencing.Ive been a client here for about 7 years and theyve done some wonderful things. But every group I found useful was discontinued for lack of funding. Ive had two therapists and two psychiatrists leave for other jobs or just other CMH locations. Ive watched NUMEROUS staffing changes occur on every level. And with each and every change I have found myself getting less and less of what I need to maintain or improve. Its no guarantee that your experience will be the same but you should be aware that they may simply not have enough options to choose from in order to deal with whatever concerns you have. They will provide services if you need them. They will help get medication and treatment and therapy if you need it. It doesnt mean what you get will be any good. But in the area again its your only option. And its better than nothing.
