I just transferred my son to Tartan and I am extremely frustrated by the fact that staffs at this school dont care about kids having to stand outside in the cold temperatures close to 0 if they are not picked up by 250pm .. they dont even make sure kids are aware of the rules for staying after school. My son asked one of the staff what was going on and was told that all students have to leave the school at 250pm .. didnt explain anything else .. so my son stood outside the school for almost an hour. I understand that its the rules but I feel that if the staff even cared a little that they would have asked or given him more information if they saw a student standing in the cold for so long.I was already upset that the teachers didnt seem to care much in general. NOT saying ALL teachers staff are that way becayse there are some really caring ones there .. STILL though .. If I knew how the staff at thus school were ... I would have defiantly left my son at North.. even with the transportation issues we had So to anyone deciding between North Tartan ... NORTH IS BETTER BETWEEN THE TWO

The clubs are nice and they have teachers who care deeply. The food sucks though but the sports teams and music programs are amazing.

Today I experience one of the worse experiences dealing with an assistant principal not only at this school but Creative Arts school in St. Paul they showed heartless actions and I will never respect the principals and their actions at either school. They treated my daughter and her situation with no empathy and didnt follow up with the correct people to get the situation handled. I no longer feel like this school cares about children of different backgrounds and very disappointed with the staffing there.
