About Autism Testing Clinic at North Shore Pediatric Therapy - Des Plaines

North Shore Pediatric Therapy provides in-person testing for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder in our Des Plaines, Deerfield, and Naperville centers. Over the years, thousands of families throughout Chicagoland have utilized our Neuropsychology Testing services.

Through our Early Autism Testing Clinic, children 4-and-under undergo a three-hour assessment which can be scheduled within two weeks of families reaching out to us. Autism testing is covered by most major insurance providers.

Has a pediatrician or professional recommended testing for your child? As spots fill up quickly, we encourage families to reserve an appointment as soon as possible.

Because of the specialized nature of our testing services, we, along with many other Chicagoland providers of neuropsychological testing, are experiencing considerable demand for assessments.

However, if your child is 4 or younger, and has been referred to us for possible autism, we will do our best to schedule you in the next 2 weeks for an intake, testing, and feedback appointment as part of our Autism Testing Clinic. The appointment typically takes about three hours and takes place in one day. We know how critical this testing is as early as possible in a child's development.

For all other testing and assessments, we are currently booking appointments 5-6 months into the future.
