My children went here to meet with the office so they can get continued care. The other office was too difficult to schedule appointment. They offer video remote interpreting at site and thats a plus for me as a deaf person. The first appointment took over an hour but the other appointment was quick. Overall a great experience

My kids have been going here for years and I have never had an issue within the last year since the other doctors have left their customer service is very rude I was placed in hold for over 20 minutes several times my son needs to see a cardiologist and its been a month since I took him for a referral they referred him to someone that dont see children I have been calling them for two weeks and there is either no answer or immediately placed on hold. My issue may not be urgent to them but my 14 year old complaining about chest pains is urgent to me the hospital told me to take him to his pediatrician for a referral I really wish they would have just given him one. This is truly ridiculous especially since I provided a pediatric cardiologist and they refused to do the referral there

So imagine scheduling an appointment for 830 arriving at least 15mins early to only be told no is here because we dont open up until 830 Then while waiting you see the person pulling up at 830 to let us in. Still in the lobby 20mins past your appt while you just watch the employees come in before youre even called to the back This is soooo unprofessional and never seen something like this before and Ive been in the medical field 8yrs. Why not just start seeing patients at 9 if your staff isnt going to show up on time. Still havent seen a dr and the front desk staff rather argue with me about them being late

Took my daughter in because she was extremely sick and was given a pa that was uncaring. I told her my daughters symptoms for a sinus infection and that we were here before and given antibiotics. The pa try to reassure me that it was only a virus and she sent over to the pharmacy a cough medicine no antibiotics. My daughter got sicker in the days following and we a had to go to the San Jose location to see a real doctor. At that location we were given an antibiotic and my daughter improved never will go back to the Baymeadows location again.

The girls at the front desk seem to hate their job . This office always have a new doctor. My sons issue can not be resolved because they say a dermatologist is booked for a whole year The Clinique looks as old as the building the walls dont look regularly cleaned the bench in the rooms are dingy and have holes just gross Im glad I switched him out of this practice .

Update They never sent my sons refferals to nemours so we could get things done before his surgery. I had to call their office a nemours several times to verify this prior to the surgery and now after.. Now its been a week since the surgery and still nothing Also Kirsten at this office is so rude and one point she said I am not at my home office so how am I supposed to help you its not my fault your stuff wasnt sent. If I would of know that this practice was this bad we never would of goneWe went there because due to change of insurance. The nurse was great but I didnt like the office. It wasnt very clean and cabinets are being held closed by a child proofing lock . There isnt any visible signs to show this is the practice on the main road. I passed the office four times. Plus the vibe I received from the office wasnt what I am used to from the kids previous dr.

Well my first impression was the office waiting area was a little ghetto. I dont know how old these google photos are but this is NOT what the office we walked into looked like but thats the least of their issues. This office also does not make you wait in the car for your appt despite how small the waiting room is so not very COVID positive. No one took our temperature and there were no other measures taken. The second issue I had was it was my sons first visit and I was informed without being asked why I was there that he would not be seeing a doctor that this visit was to establish care. Huh So I have to schedule two appts take two days off work and my son has to miss two days of school to see this doctor Then Im informed that we will need to print and bring with us the sports physical what kind of pediatric clinic doesnt have the state standard physical form. The physical was the reason we were coming in the first place thank God because had my son actually have been sick I would have wasted potentially precious time. I dont have access to a printer so I tried to find one at CVS the day of my appt to bring with me and it caused us to be late. I was informed we would need to reschedule because we were late despite no one being in the waiting room by a very snippy and rude receptionist who called that out to me over another mom waiting at the window. So unprofessional I pay too much money for health insurance for this level of care at a doctors office. I will say Ive been to other NFP offices and they were much better. My recommendation is go to one of them.

My son started going to this practice in March prior to the doctor selling her practice. First visit was great. Second visit we found out she was leaving but we were told the transition would be very easy. I went two weeks ago to make an appointment to meet the new doctor. It was for today at 930 am. I filled out new patient paperwork turned it in made the appointment in person. They didnt even have him in the computer system this morning when I called to confirm his appointment because I thought it was odd they didnt text a reminder. The doctors may be wonderful but Ill never find out because the front office staff has lost this practice a patient.

Friendly staff. Great doctor. Plenty of child toys and books to make them feel comfortable and not anxious. Every questioned I ask was explained and answer so well for me. Since this is my sons first time switching doctors...if this is the treatment that he will receive...he wont be switching anytime soon. Thanks staff your awesome. Cant wait for my two daughters appointment tomorrow.

Dr. Saba Jafri and her team are amazing. Ive been here since my first appointment when I was still pregnant to my now one year olds appointment. The staff clearly demonstrates a love for what they do and a love for each and every patient. I cant speak more highly of them. Waits can be a little long however waiting is nothing compared to the individual time this team gives each patient.

It's a big decision to make for your family! Applied behavior analysis (ABA) seeks to improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. Watch out for ABA providers who look to "cure" autism.

The goal is to help people learn all that they can so they can live to their potential while embracing their unique, individual personality traits. Here's our complete guide to start and end ABA therapy.

Autism-friendly camps come in all shapes and sizes, making it easier for you to find the one that best suits your needs. An autism-friendly camp may come in the form of a day camp, meaning you drop your child off in the morning and pick them up later that afternoon, or as an overnight camp. The camp programs can range in length from a few days to a few weeks. The campers that attend autism-friendly camps may be autistic only or a mixture of neurotypical and neurodivergent kids. When it comes to support for your child, some camps offer 1:1 support while others have a higher camper-to-counselor ratio.
When choosing the perfect camp for your child there are five key things you should keep in mind:
Interests: What does your child like to do? A sports camp probably wouldn’t be a good fit for your little bookworm. Finding the right summer camp that sparks your child’s excitement will aid in transitioning to and from camp, while also ensuring they enjoy their experience.
Professional Support: How much support does your child need? A traveling camp may not be best for your child who tends to elope. Some camps offer 1:1 support for your child, while others may have a higher camper-to-counselor ratio. When looking for a camp, pay close attention to those ratios to ensure there is adequate support for your child’s unique needs.
Specializations: Does the camp specialize in a specific area? If your child is nonverbal and the camp has excellent experience working with nonverbal children, it may be the perfect fit!
Responsiveness and Accommodations: Pay special attention to camps that meet with you one-on-one either by phone, video chat, or in person, to mark out a personalized support plan for your child. You can relax knowing they’re on top of things and making sure your child is properly supported. Don’t be afraid to ask tons of questions —a great camp will welcome them!
Location and Commitment: Not many people like a long commute. You know your child’s comfort level better than anyone else, so you’ll know what’s best for them, whether it’s a half-day camp, a full day, or an overnight experience.
