Ms. Laura is a wonderful speech therapist Our son started stuttering at 2 years old and we were very concerned about his speech. Ms. Laura put our worries at ease from the very beginning of our journey. She not only provided excellent therapy for our son but taught us the strategies and gave us the tools to help improve his speech at home. She is extremely knowledgeable in the area of fluency and made therapy fun for our son We would highly recommend her to anyone who is struggling with stuttering or any other speech disorder

Four years ago my son was having a difficult time with reading comprehension. The therapists here are amazing to work with. They took a detailed history and conducted a thorough age appropriate assessment. From there they executed a plan of care that included themselves the therapists our son his teacher and us as parents. We were provided with goals and once those goals were met we got a home program to continue. They continue to be a touch point for me as a Mom as my son grows older just to be sure he is on the right track. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura and Melissa who helped us tremendously. My son no longer gets frustrated with reading and his comprehension skills continue to flourish. Four years ago our son was diagnosed with fluency disorder. We knew nothing about it at the time and as a parent thats a very scary situation to be in. We were so lucky to find Laura. She patiently walked us through every step of the process and was our sons biggest advocate. He absolutely adores her and so do we. She has restored his confidence when speaking and we are forever grateful to her.

I cannot recommend Ms. Sheppard more highly our daughter Mae received speech therapy over a two year period in Kinder and 1st with Ms. Sheppard and we were absolutely wowed with Maes progress the innovative techniques and best practices that Ms. Sheppard uses but above all else how FUN she made it for Mae. Mae didnt think of it as therapy she looked forward to fun sessions games and activities with Ms. Sheppard. Ms. Sheppard has great expertise an incredible bed side manner a true gift with children and is an excellent communicator and source of guidance for parents navigating speech therapy. Mae graduated from therapy but still breaks into a run to hug Ms. Sheppard when she sees her I will also never forget Mae beaming with pride after mastering new skills Ms. Sheppard cultivated such positivity and confidence. Shes simply awesome
