Horrible experience with my step-father were currently working on transferring him elsewhere asap.Ive worked at nursing homes myself so Im well aware of what goes on how understaffed they are and how taxing the job is so I was sympathetic to begin with. the first couple times I arrived to find him needing a changing I let it go and took care of it myself taking note that he was rarely checked on and his calls werent answered when I was present. Then it started progressing to the point where he had a rash and it was an occurrence that happened every time I visited without fail. I said something to staff and it was resolved for a week then it started up again with a vengeance what was a rash was now horrific too vulgar to describe the condition I found his privates in.he started complaining specifically about a certain staff member who made him feel embarrassed and gave him an attitude made him uncomfortable and downright sad. Hes not great with names so I stayed with him until he could point the employee out to me. It was a girl Id seen before named Nathalia I believe or thalia and an older lady with dirty blonde hair and Caucasian looking who I did not catch name. Nathalia not sure on the spelling lots of dark hair younger and looked Caucasian although never sure about ethnicity . I approached the dark haired one myself and was very kind I didnt bring up his frustration with her but instead brought up how hes been dirty every time I visit. I wasnt being accusing or rude at all. When I tell you this girl was horrific unprofessional her attitude was disgusting. I was taken aback by her response and aggression she swore at me under her breath as well.. I ended up talking to a supervisor about her where I was told this wasnt the first complaint theyve gotten about this same girl but blamed it on lack of CNAs. I dont care how short staffed you are theres no need to employ a girl who is not only rude and unprofessional but unable to maintain the cleanliness of a residents privates to the point where hes in pain and at risk of infection Not only that but she couldnt keep her cool with me being kind and patient imagine how she treats residents who are hard of hearing or suffer from dementia The older one with light colored hair was very sweet but smelled like cigarettes and didnt have gloves on when assisting with the rash which I thought was strange.I was in shock. We are working on removing my stepdad for multiple reasons regarding lack of hygiene and attention but this situation with Nathalia or Thalia was the last straw I hope they take action on this as I was met with an unusual response of admitted guilt that this girl in particular is causing problems but theyre in a position where they are afraid to fire her due to staffing. Completely unacceptable if shes jeopardizing the health and well-being of a resident who is known for being a friendly gentle jokester.

Staff took wonderful care of our mother. She was so happy there and we as a family were always updated on how things were going. Family meetings phone consults etc. We were very happy with the facility.

Unfortunately my Grandmother stayed at this facility. The food was terrible. The staff was not very pleasant or helpful. The building itself is in need of repairs. All around really not impressed. With the amount of funding they receive they really should invest more into the building and the staff.

I couldnt breathe but nurse kept telling me there was nothing physically wrong turned out after my daughter called 911 I was transported to hospital where they found my lungs filled with fluid causing major heart issues ALMOST KILLED ME NONE OF THE ADMINS OR DIRECTOR OR DOCTOR HAVE REACHED OUT...BUSINESS AS USUAL NOW LOOKING AT HEART SURGERY BECAUSE OF THEIR NEGLECTOmg an aid just threw a new patient around like a ragdoll is yelling at her Calling this place a rehab center is a lie calling it a MICKEYMOUSE joint is an insult to MICKEYMOUSE. Sign financial forms is 1st. Then they make you strip in front of open blinds so they can see if you have any sores. They make fun of your body. Then take off bandages that a wound care specialist put in place an hour bf and replace it with half the bandage. Want to replace the colostomy bag just changed. Then wait.
