Neurology Services - Woodbridge

He is amazing. I literally fly from Florida because he has been my doctor for 20 years. His knowledge is tremendous and he really helps his patients. No matter the problem he really knows how to help them. Trust me this is the best neurologist out there.

My daughter has been suffering with chronic migraines that are debilitating to where she was missing more days of school than she was going for the last 2 12 years. We saw two different Neurologist in that time and neither of them could tell us what the cause of the migraines were just that they happen sometimes and were gonna have to treat them. Even on the medication we were still having several episodes that would last over 24 hours in a week. My daughter was in tears because she was missing out on being a normal teenager. We all know how heartbreaking that is to hear.Thats when I reached out to this office and I will never look back. Our first appointment with Dr. Bernard ran over but thats because he took the time to ask a tremendous amount of medical history and evaluate all of the testing that we had already had done as well. Before leaving we didnt have any answers as to what the cause may be or migraines but we did have a promise from him That he would figure out what the cause was. He told us it may take some time but he will figure it out within two months. We had a diagnosis. It is literally the same neurological issue that I have and I brought up to all other doctors and suggested testing for it but none of the other would.The office was able to get me in relatively quickly whereas other doctors offices were looking at scheduling us months out. With the three locations they can generally squeeze you in somewhere really fast if you have an emergency as well. They offer Saturday options for those of us who work or dont have a ride during the week. Heather and Stephanie are always the sweetest as well.I had been looking for a good neurologist for might condition as well and I have since transferred over to this office myself as well. He does run behind sometimes but thats because emergencies come up and he hast to handle them and he takes the time with his patients thats needed to fully you destined all aspects.I wouldnt trade this office for the world

Nice Doctor who listens. He likes to talk with his patients about what is going on in their lives and with their families to understand all factors. He is very keen on details. Ask the front desk when is Dr. Bernards least busiest hours to avoid the wait. He has Saturday hours but Saturday wait times are very long.

Dr. Peter Bernad has been nothing but very helpful to me and the things I go through Hes very respectful listens to my needs. Not only that he has a amazing staff as well in all his locations. I highly recommend him he will definitely help you out on any medical conditions.

Appointment was for 10am I was there 15 mins before 10am waited until 1015 when he came out and ask who was here first. There were two others in the room with me and by the sign in sheet I was the third one. My issue is if my appointment is at 10am then he should have called me or if he was late then I should have been notified. if I would have waited he would have not seen me until 11am. Will never see him again not first time he has done this.

Literally the worst doctor experience Ive ever had. Dr. Bernard barely assessed me at all. He asked me a few questions then told me to go to the front desk to schedule a follow-up appointment.I had no idea what the reschedule was for. He didnt lift a single finger. After I waited for at least 45 mins. He was done with me in less than 2 minutes this is not an exaggeration. I did not schedule a follow-up. Id much rather go somewhere else.

Dr. Bernad has been wonderful and seems truly interested in his patients. Sometimes the wait is a little long but Ive realized that he spends a lot of time asking questions and trying to actually figure out whats going on. I have had numerous tests done and though theyve all come back normal he realizes that there is something going on and continues to look for the answer. Thankfully it seems to be improving with the treatment plan.

Didnt tell me ahead of time that they didnt accept my insurance when I clearly told 2 different people what type of insurance it was. I took off from work to get there and they turned me away after 5 mins. The office looked horrible and very shady and dirty. Maybe its a blessing they turned me away. Dont want an incompetent doctor staff to take care of you

Dr. Bernad is WONDERFUL I dont know why people have reviewed Dr. Bernad so negatively He truly has a very kind demeanor and is very interested in his patients and giving them the best appointment they deserve. Dont be so negative towards the students that visit with you and listen to your medical issues. They are there to learn and practice what they learn in medical school. And Dr. Bernad gives them an opportunity to learn in a medical office setting. How else do you expect a future doctor to learn That is why they are interns. When Dr. Bernad finally comes in to see you he will ask the students what they think and what diagnosis or recommendation to treatment. I enjoy these young doctors as one day they might be my physician. We all deserve a chance to learn and I am learning about my issues more with each visit. And what kind of doctor is always on time To me that is a doctor that has no real time for the patient and is anxious to get to the next paying patient because that doctor books as many patients as he can. Dont be so negative or rude be kind. If you dont want to give these students a chance to learn and become the professionals that they have chosen to be then let the staff know - they are warm friendly and accommodating.
