Katie Brown, the owner of Neuro Speech Solutions, knew she wanted to specialize in the adult and geriatric population as soon as she started graduate school. After watching several family members experience speech and cognitive disorders from neurological diseases, she quickly realized how vital client and caregiver collaboration is in the rehabilitation process. Although SLPs are known as the “experts” in communication, cognition, and swallowing, Katie understands that clients are the real experts because they know themselves best. Katie’s mission for Neuro Speech Solutions is personalized, meaningful, and person-centered care to enable our clients to reach their goals faster and trust in their renewed abilities.
