Nemours Children's Health, Lakeland

I have been having issues finding a neurologist for my daughter. I was on the phone with the insurance and found one. When I called with the insurance they told us they accepted the insurance I had everything changed with the referral and waited 2448 hours to schedule the appointment. The day I tried the woman didnt want to be bothered told me it wasnt neuro it was behavioral when in fact I have 3 issues with my daughter and needs a neurologist for possible seizures and told that they didnt accept it then transferred the call back to neurology. Told me again that they dont accept it and the issues I have with my daughter arent neurology period and she wouldnt let me finish my sentence. Just made me feel like there is no hope into finding a doctor when I am trying my hardest.

I have never been so disappointed by a medical establishment ever. It is an embarrassment to the professional helping profession. Do all you can to avoid Nemours and seek care elsewhere for your sanity and the health of your children. I feel bad for the small amount of good people working there that are trapped in a broken and incompetent system.

This is our second time bringing our son to this hospital and I have to say I dont understand the low rating. Everyone that has come into contact with our child has been nothing less than amazing. They knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I wish they were closer to us but the hour and a half drive is well worth it. I would like to shout a few of our nurses Cheyenne Magen Melody Katie and last and most certainly not least Ray they are the real MVPs. If youve been graced with their presence know that your baby is in good hands. Thank you ladies so much for keeping our baby at ease in his most uncomfortable times.

My son had his achilles tendon lengthened by Sr. Khoury and they did an amazing job with him. Very quality care

My son has been getting ultrasounds every few months and each time we visit we are always greeted warmly and professionally. Theres one gentleman at the front desk that is my favorite I wish I could remember his name but he always chats with the kids and makes you feel so comfortable. We have the same ultrasound tech each time and my son LOVES her. She is so patient. If he gets wiggly she pauses and gives him time to calm down before starting again. The only feedback I have is it seems they dont always have the ultrasound orders from the doctor. Theres been a few times Ive had to call the doctor back and ask them to resend the order.

Stephanie and Jackson Jefferson were the best at Lakeland Regional. We were late and it was my fault so I was pleased that these 2 worked with me today. Daniel was the best nurse as well Thank you

Dr. Khoury and staff at the ortho nemours in lakeland was awesome So friendly and welcoming. My daughter wore stitch ears and the office staff loved it and even showed her there stitch collection. My daughter wasnt nervous or scared one bit once she started talking to them. They dont do unnecessary things and they discuss everything with the parent and make sure we are apart of the plan.

Had a wonderful care team who kept me super informed and informed about whats going on and were very accommodatingI was just visiting the area and needed to take my child to the hospital. This hospital is excellent

Staff very nice. Was welcomed with a smile checking in. Was taken back quickly. Son scheduled for a ultrasound of heart. The gentleman doing the procedure made my son feel comfortable and relaxed. Doctor was very detailed with the testing and follow up requirements. The dr made us feel confident in the her opinions and suggestions.

First time actually visiting and I am shocked at such a low rating. This hospital is by far the fastest Ive seen in a long time. Not only are they fast they are concerned. The doctor and his staff went above and beyond not only to see about my bby but they helped me out as well. I am forever grateful as to this is the kids side. I was on the verge of getting light headed I was real faint and in painhe noticed right away and took me on in. I want to say Thank you all so kindly for having what nobody seem to have anymore in this world.and thats TIME. This will definitely be my kids new GO TO hospital I dont mind riding pass 3hospitals to get here Its worth it. We are better within the next day.Thank you Dr. Jesse Staff
