Nemours Children's Health, Downtown Orlando

If I could give this facility a 0 I would. I needed my daughters physical filled out on her schools legal document. After multiple faxes for over an month and even driving 40 minutes to the location to request they complete the form since they said they were missing a page they waisted my time and still did not provide the completed document my child needed in order for her to participants in her schools sports club. I even provided them with my fax number to send the completed form I gave them back to me since I was not able to continue to wait for them to complete the form I waited for almost an hour. I ended up going to another organization to have her physical exam redone and I paid out of pocket.They are the worst and if anyone brings up Neumors to me I will have nothing but terrible things to say since they caused me financial hardship and my daughter emotional distress since my daughter was over a month behind with her training.

The wait was quite long but besides that Dr. Omer was absolutely amazing. He really took the time to listen hes compassionate too. Definitely worth the hour drive to this office.

Dr. Chander is hands down the most incredible pediatric medical professional Ive ever met... and there have been a lot over the past 3 years. We had FUN during our visit and Im thrilled for her to be a part of my daughters care team Everyone in the complex medicine clinic is such a joy to be around Its amazing that there are so many incredible women in one office.

They dont even deserve the one star unprofessional unorganized uneducated worst experience Ive ever had in my entire life.The Orange avenue location is a joke The supervisor Latoya a supervisor lol far from one... I have never met somebody that had more excuses than solutions as a supervisor the only thing that you are supposed to have is a solution never an excuse.. I asked her for her name she refused to give it to me It was only until me walking out to get it from the front desk.. now thats unprofessional if I do say myself. I waited 9 months to get an appointment to wait 3 hours for them to kick me out they said I threw a bag of Cheez-Its at a staff member You have got to be kidding me... I would love to have known how I threw it did I toss it did I throw it aggressively .. IT NEVER happen that was just an excuse to get me out of the building because I told them how much of a mess this establishment was and that she was doing a horrible job supervising the establishment... That I was going to report her for her unprofessionalism... You guys dont understand I was in the room talking to the doctors in the middle of a conversation when the lady came in and interrupted us and took the doctor out into the hallway then to turn around and come 5 minutes later to come get me out and say that I had to leave because I threw something out of staff member when I walk out of the room the security guard was waiting to escort me my 2-year-old and my 4-year-old out of the hospital now come on You have got to be kidding me that lady not only needs to lose her job she never needs to work in a hospital again..So so sorry for the security man he had his head down and was shaking his head the whole time he was in the elevator with me apologizing for my experience saying he cannot believe that she just did that to us

I am appalled at how this office is treating me a father as a second-class citizen. I have and have always had since my son was born the same rights and access to my son as his mother. I am on his birth certificate and in terms of custody. My son is with me 5 days a week and his mother for only 2 days. But none of that mattered when I called the psychologists office to get my son help and was told they wouldnt even allow me to make my son an appointment without proving my rights to them. Unless there was some type of documentation provided that says I shouldnt have the ability to schedule my son an appointment or that I dont have equal rights no such documentation exists it was discriminatory against myself as a father and frankly insulting as the person who has majority custody of my son in the first place. I set the majority of his appointments. I take my son to the majority of his appointments. I shouldnt have to PROVE my rights to my own son. Do better.

They were really good a few years back. Since Michelle Tellado is not here as much anymore it has turned into a circus. You wait atleast 30 minutes pass your appointment to just get back there. Then you wait another hour and a half to be seen. No respect for your time at all. They are so busy now you wait in a waiting room full of sick kids. If you werent sick before you came in you WILL be sick when you leave. Its extremely sad how they treat their patients. I would not recommend.

The worse nemours location I have ever been to. The staff here in the Allergy specialty department are extremely rude and disrespectful. They ask you to consider and be be respectful of there time yet they are not respectful to your time like at all. They will argue with you too like fully go back and forth as if your life literally doesnt matter at all. If they do take there time to reply to this message its only because they enjoy going above and beyond to mess with peoples nerves. Stay far away from the specialty department at this location.

Dr. kennedy was very nice and patient.Edit 62723 time changes things thats for sure. I made the original post a few years ago. A lot has changed here since then. Nemours used to be a very personable helpful place To bring your child. Now you wait 2-3 hours for a normal appointment. They are expanding and making their business larger yet they do not care about what got them so large their patients. I will remove my review when I see you all go back to caring for your patients families like you used to.

Great doctors but their staff is very rude. I just called this morning just to request a copy of my sons immunization records. I was hung up on three times by Shannon. I was told I needed to come pick up the records when Ive always been able to access them via the Nemours portal. I am considering switching my sons provider. Everytime you call youre always out on hold and when someone finally decides to answer they hang up. Now I have to take an hour out my day to go pick up records she could have simply made available via the portal. Terrible customer service

This was our first visit here and my app took me in the back way. For us this is almost an hour drive but it was where my childs doctor sent us. When we arrived it was easy to find our way in and there was a directory that let us know what floor we needed to go to. Upon entering we were greeted by a security guard who asked if we had an appointment and checked our temperatures. He then sent us to check in which went very quickly. Once checked in we were told to head to the back and find a seat while I filled out some paperwork. We were called in very quickly and vitals were checked. We were shown to a room and waited for the respiratory test. When we were done they moved us to another room to meet the doctor. They came in and did an examination and set a plan for how to proceed. Everyone was very nice and professional and wore a mask. The tech and Dr both wore gloves. I have to say we were very happy with our whole experience here.
