Nemours Children's Health, Clermont

My daughter has been going to Dr Athans since she was born 10years. We made an appointment today to see a PA. The person on the phone that made the appointment got us in same day. We drove 45min for the appointment and we show up just for them to tell us they dont accept our insurance. I put the insurance on the app and no one called to tell me they didnt accept it and the lady that made the appointment never asked if it was the same or updated. We wasted leaving workschool early and drove 45 min just for the lady at the front desk to be rude and disrespectful. I love Dr Athans but the front office staff is not worth it.

This place like many place just have beautiful facilities incredible equipment but thats it. I was really close to start a career like doctor in my country no because the money because my aptitude. When I was kid I have a lots of problems with my health and I desire to be a pediatrician I admire this doctors and his sacrifice to help me and others kids around me. When I grow finally I dont take the pediatrician career because to do this you need to love people and have empathy and if you lose that you just gone have a title in a wall. I fourth Kids and I try that they give attention to my daughter with fever after treated her in home for 4 days we decided to visit this place we call and they just treated us like trash. I dont have any qualifications for this place. Is a place built just for collect money. I dont say nothing new but is sad when you see your kids feeling bad and have people in the other line cold like iceberg.Well some update after visit Nemours Hospital we still in the same my daughter still with fever they dont sent any lab just said that is something viral. Im working like maintenance supervisor and the only way to found some issue if you do a troubleshooting I suppose that doctors need to do something similar. My best friend like maintenance is my multimeter I believe that a lab is amazing tool for a doctor too. She have fever and no coughing no pain just fever can be nothing can be something serious. Lest go to see what happened. Some pictures with sign that we dont know and something that doctors dont know too.

Bad service only one doctor on duty for many people. I waited 1 hour in the room and the doctor came saw my 2 kids 5 minutes or less. They never checked weight and vaccines and he said will send medicine to pharmacy Never happened. Dont waste time guys in this center i already find different place

Location is clean and super kid friendly.They have done great in getting me quick appts 1 was for my sons school physical and the other 2 time have been emergencies where Ive needed to come in same day and they give me appts same day super quick.The staff is sweet attentive and get paperwork done quickly. The Only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars is because they use a lot of traditional text book medicine and I come from overseas where we use more holistic medicine besides that I will keep using them and highly recommend them over other pediatricians Ive seen.

I love Dr. Odette Stanley-Brown. Long name but completely worth pronouncing properly She is wonderful She spends time with us and our children and genuinely cares about our kids total well-being. She is without a doubt the best doctor that I have EVER had the pleasure of visiting and I am SO grateful that I found her

We really love this office and Doctor M. They always get me in for an appointment if there is something im concerned about with my daughter and Dr. M is always very informative and takes time to go over concerns and questions I might have. All the the nurses are kind as well. The rooms are all themed so there are things for my daughter to look at while were waiting. I think the longest wait Ive had is 30 minutes because the office was busy other than that no more that 15 min typically.

When my daughter was seen she was so scared. The nurse Christina took us back into the room in less then 5 minutes of us checking in was very honest with my daughter that she would receive some shots but she would be gentle and get through it together. Her reassurance and up beat attitude made her visit so much easier for both her and I. By the end of the visit she was not nearly as scared and even allowed her to give the shots without crying. She was gentle and made the visit fun . I really recommend this pediatricians office with either doctors. Everyone is friendly. But my daughters new favorite is the nurse that made her visit fun instead of scary Thank you Nurse Christina you are awesome I hope you know what it means to me.

Such a wonderful caring and patient office My son has Down Syndrome and has extreme anxiety when it comes to anything medical. I have been searching for a pediatrician that generally cares and listens and is patient. So glad I have finally found itMy son was having a meltdown and they were extremely patient even bringing the thermometer etc to the waiting room to make him more comfortable. Bother the nurses and doctor were caring patient and kind. Recommend highly.

I called multiple times a day for a week with no answer the office did not believe me until I SHOWED PROOF staff is not knowledgeable about anything including their own policies and the doctor kept misdiagnosing my children which is why we stopped coming. My children have been going to Nemours for over 10 years and THIS OFFICE is the ONLY bad one... All the others are absolutely wonderful weve been to 4 different ones over the years.

I recently moved to Clermont and I needed to find new doctors for my children to which the insurance assigned me this facility and I accepted since they accepted new patients. However it has taken me two months to be able to make an appointment which unfortunately I still havent gotten it with them. Seeing the situation I really feel frustrated since how is it possible that they do not have availability for so long. Given the situation I preferred to call my childrens insurance and move to a new facility where they did not have so many restrictions for new patients and they immediately gave me an appointment for them. I definitely should never have chosen them to take care of my children. They have terrible customer service plus the person behind the phone. Pass this health center.
